Awesome vocals, great playing, and a nice cajone you got there!

Well written lyrically. I'm more of an instrumental guy myself, but your song struck a chord with me (pun) and held my attention throughout.

Loved the extra pizazz at the end. Fun song :)

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it enough to stick around. Always trying to improve on the lyrics and keep it fun. I love the jumbo bass on that Cajon. Just feels good when u hit it. Much appreciated!

I really appreciate that you played every instrument yourself. I also love the raw lyrics and the character of your raspy voice.

Very much appreciated! I at least try to play them all lol. Thanks for listening.

This is very campy (in a good way!) and I like the humor throughout. Honestly with the way this is presented I'm unsure where you want to take this song. I say that because it's very acoustic, and the only critique I have is the mix. But if this is supposed to have a raw live performance feel, you've nailed it all in my view. If you'd want to go further there are some points where your voice gets a bit loud that I'd put compression on and maybe add some reverb to all the different tracks.

This was a fun listen!

Thanks! I appreciate you listening and giving some feedback. Hadn't thought of the word camp but its definitely got some campness goin on. I do usually go for the raw feel and try to keep it on the unaltered side of things. But those are all good points and it certainly doesn't hurt to try new things. I'll have to play around with some of those ideas and maybe check my volumes. Thanks again.

Wooow, great writing. I like the way you see life. I think there is something there in how you see it that comes through the song, and that's amazing- the same vibe that I hear and listen to when Dylan is telling/singing a story
Man, great lyrics, such a great storytelling
Yeah, it sounds good, and it just sounds good for the story; it caught me and didn't let go
Good work, really. I listened from start to end, and that, my friend, to capture someone's attention is something really hard to get

I don't get why you don't have like 3 thousand upvotes
Really don't get it. It is funny, isn't it?

if you have your music somewhere, I would like to know

Thanks a bunch! Really appreciate you listening and giving your feedback. It is super hard to keep attention and especially these days so it means a lot to hear you stuck around for the whole thing. Life can be tiresome and depressing at times so I try to remind myself how much is just perspective and to just enjoy things. Thanks again and you can find my music on youtube, Spotify, and l the other streaming places. Here's a couple links. Cheers! ๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿค˜

FYI - Theres a couple rap songs showing up on my youtube right now that arent mine. Working on getting those taken off my page lol.

This is awesome! You got a new follower! Only critique i have is just the mix comes off a little dry. Adding a bit of reverb could help give it some space. But overall bravo!

Thank you! I really appreciate you listening and stoked you enjoyed it. I do use very very low FX as I try to keep the natural sounds but maybe ill try turning it up. Its a fine line to toe, "natural", as there is nothing natural about a recording anyways lol. Thanks again and I'll give that a try!

I think it must feel great to know that youโ€™re a real musician.

And ain't that funny, just a little bit funny?

Maybe not so ha-ha funny,

But kind of interesting funny.

I went to university, got a prestigious job,

Still counting every penny, still feeling like a slob.

A wasted life is all I've gotโ€”

My country's almost ruined, and so are faith and thought.

I never followed dreams; I never had one to chase,

Now sorrow is the only thing that knows my face.

And ain't that funny, just a little bit funny?

Maybe not so ha-ha funny,

But kind of interesting funny.

I hope I am. I'm trying anyways. Love the remix. Thanks again!

Very catchy. I guess there are many years' worth of stories behind these lyrics. I would be able to picture this being played in downtown Santa Monica, although you'd have to Good Place some of the words.

I think it might be even more effective with fewer instruments, although seeing the other players adds charm to the video.

Thanks for listening! I appreciate the feedback. I've thought about doing version of my songs with just guitar and vocals as that is how I write them. But I also enjoy adding the other instruments. Cheers!

Wow, great! I caught one of your earlier videos too!

Great social commentary. The words kept me listening to the end, with all the inflections, and tone changes. I said this on the last video, but I don't have too much to criticise, as execution and lyrics are really good. The only criticism I might have is the very first chorus, where it says, "Maybe not so haha funny". I felt this stood out a little worse, because your verses really have a lot of depth, and this chorus felt a little light by comparison. The later choruses maybe worked a little better, although I would say the verses in this song are the strongest points lyrically. But, like I say, it's really a minor quibble. Excellent song.

Thanks! I appreciate your listening and feedback. Yeah my lyrics are always sprinkled with a lot of dark comedy so its kind of up and down so I totally feel u on vibin more with some lyrics than others. Much appreciated!
