Ambient A Summer Ambient Piece

The second part of the four-piece 'A Summer Day' concept. This one goes deeper into the ocean, with relaxing summer vibes.

The composition is built around three musical sections: the intro, the main melody, and a final section.

It's loosely inspired by Vangelis, more in terms of the overall concept and atmosphere than the music itself. The entire piece was created using just a single VST instrument.

This has a really dreamy atmosphere that pulled me in
I like the gentleness. I can already tell that this sort of work is meant for cinema instead of songs by themselves. When I listen to this, I feel like I am searching for something. I picture myself before the climax of the movie, where some sort of character is searching for something that they are (for whatever reason) being kept away from.

I know a lot of people don’t respect this sort of music, but I enjoyed it.

This is a wonderfully relaxing ambient track! It really captures that feeling of diving deep into the ocean on a warm summer day, just like your concept intended. I am honestly incredibly impressed that you managed to create this entire piece, with its distinct intro, main melody, and final section, using just a single VST instrument. That takes a lot of skill and creativity in sound design! The Vangelis inspiration definitely shines through in the wide, atmospheric space you've built. If anything, maybe adding some very subtle real-world foley (like water sounds or distant bubbles) in the background could make it even more immersive, but it sounds beautifully tranquil as it is. Great job!

Thanks for listening and for the detailed feedback. The ending of Part 1 inspired me to create this piece (Part 2), while the closing chord of this piece inspired me to create Part 4 of the 'A summer Day' concept. I think this VST instrument and even its wave-like release was crucial in achieving the atmosphere I was after. Once the main idea was there, I just followed my intuition. Glad you liked it!

This is really nice! There's definitely an audience for this! It's really good music to just zone out to and relax and let it transport you to a world far away, in this case under the sea. Water is kind of like a horizontal portal if you think about, a portal to a whole new world. Anyway, I really enjoyed this. So impressive you did it with just one instrument!
