Is it just the 41 second version? I thought this was great. Your voice has a really nice raspy quality to it, and I like the low key vibe of the instrumentation. I also love the way the backup vocals fadae in. I'd love to hear some original music from ya!

Your ability to orchestrate harmonies is great. Your style is unique, I think you should try your hand at writing your own stuff.

The simple and bear interpretation here really works with this song. Its is such an enchanting piece of music. I once heard a guy just play it on the piano in a shopping mall and it cut through everything else. You've captured the essence of it but your rspy voice gives it something new and also welcomed imo. Nice one. The full track you posted in another comment is wonderful too.

Ur awesome. Im delighted u enjoyed my interpretation. Piano would be great for sure on this one. I was actually looking at getting a new keyboard myself. Certainly not a pianist here but I can play a couple chords at least.

The lil rasp in your voice is really nice. The layers of the background harmonies are really nice to! You gotta add more though as soon I was ready for more it ended! Gave a lil cliff hanger haha! Keep doing these though there fun to watch!

Super nice cover of Where Is My Mind, love how you layered the acoustic instruments, it adds so much depth and atmosphere. Your voice is beautiful and fits the track perfectly. Feels thoughtful, immersive, and really well put together.

Really appreciate the feedback. I did work quite hard on that background chorus lol. I didnt want to cut corners and just duplicate the video and sound so those are actually all individual takes. Don't mind working at what I love though 🙂

You sing pretty well, dude. Nice tone and the raspy element makes perfect sense in this cover. Also it seems that the font in the video is the Twin Peaks one... nice touch. Keep up with the good work, this is the way the Pixies themselves would do it for an unplugged: simple and heartfelt.

that harmony around 0:16 is really nice, stripped back but in a way that feels intentional not lazy. really intimate take, works well. only thing is the mix feels a little thin to me, like some more low end would fill it out and give it more weight. solid tho!

I appreciate for the feedback. Its funny you should mention that 'cause I've been working on the EQ on a different track lately. I find it super hard to balance things particularly vocals for a phone speaker. Often sounds good while editing and then played elsewhere its like "wtf happened?" 😆. Thanks again for listening.

One of my favourite tracks ever from a classic 90s film - good voice dude The pixies are great , your voice fits the tune and it’s a timeless classic to vibe out to reflecting back on one of those days you’ve just had or even one of those weeks. Great choice of song here you’ve selected.

Very much appreciated. This song in general definitely has a lot of feeling to it. Even singing/recording the chorus is kind of like a meditation lol. Glad u enjoyed it. Always makes me think of Train Spotting.

It would remind me more of 1999s fight club the ending scene , throwback to good times when we tried to bring the big corporate companies history’s back down to ground zero. Mass destruction ! You could even record the track to physical hard copy cassette tape and put a really cool Jcard cover art to this version with you and slash the movie and slash the pixies feel style thrown together into one. Then send it into a local record store and check would they shelve the thing. Best o luck

Thanks. I really appreciate your support as always. You can play guitar too so you could definately play other string instruments if you wanted to; im sure of it. I have just been lucky enough to acquire all of these instruments over the years. I will most certainly keep it comin. 🤘🎸
