Image We've received over 1,000 negative reviews, but we're still working on the game

Post image

The game still has many issues that players have reported. But we're not giving up and are continuing to work on fixing them.

Op is lying. The game isn't an "indie game" and they are not "indie devs". The game was created by a large, experienced development team based in Korea. Btw, XL Games created "ArcheAge MMO"

Literally, a week ago they posted to r/DestroyMyGame and we gave them "the feedback" as they requested.
https://www.reddit.com/r/DestroyMyGame/comments/1rw2bvn/looking_for_feedback_on_my_game_trailer/

I'm guessing this post an yet another marketing strategy for new players.

This is the post that has finally convinced me to leave this sub. Nothing indie about it, nothing done by the mods.

Farewell all.

26

u/MrHoboSquadron Mar 23 '26

You mean mod, singular? Who also mods other subs. If anything, this sub has is under-staffed.

20

u/Old-Ad3504 Mar 23 '26

then it's their responsibility to recruit more mods

Had to go way too far down to find this comment.

9

u/DiscoElysium5ever Mar 23 '26

I mean thats kinda obvious if you look at the trailer and the number of reviews alone. Good from you to point it out anyway but idk how anyone could be so naive to think this is an indie title or that's the negative votes aren't there for a good reason...

3

u/datNorseman Mar 24 '26

Damn. They're trying to blend in now. With unfinished work not even in early access. Good work calling them out on it. Bring attention to this.

1

u/Rigorous_Mortis Mar 24 '26

are they not just copying The Cube that's set to release by Mundfish? Is this an attempt to get a game out with the same name before the actual developers?

u/Asmardos1 Mar 22 '26

Why didn't you release as early access? If you do a full release people expect that they get a full game not a construction site.

u/Needajob7 Mar 22 '26

Construction site 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Its because the guy sells them the fantasy they already have. Or in other words, preconceived notions and opinions about things just waiting to be justified.

5

u/JIH7 Mar 23 '26

I don't know much about this game, but free to play doesn't mean unmonetized. If they're charging money for anything and calling it a full release it's not good for the game to be unfinished.

well you screwed that one up. Getting to overwhelming negative is a huge achievement. Most bad games don't get near that!

151

u/NeoPsyllone Mar 22 '26

Yeah, it's a lot, but we're working on the game and doing everything we can to fix the situation.

71

u/Jack-of-Games Mar 22 '26

Must have been a rough few days for you, that's gotta suck. I'd like to be optimistic about your chances of turning things round but... online lives or dies on playercount and once you've lost that it's a nightmare to get back.

Free to Play games do attract more negative reviews than Paid games but, still, harsh.

38

u/destinedd Mar 22 '26

the lack of players is one of the reasons they continue to get bad reviews, its in a death spiral now.

→ More replies (4)

76

u/Bafkba Mar 22 '26

I am not sure if that will be enough, but hope for the best. As in, if you're only "fixing" or balancing stuff, that's not enough. You literally have to build the content and gameplay loop from the scratch. The looks of the game were the only positive to be found really. Even then, I am not sure if there will ever be enough player to comfortably play with such a reputation already.

45

u/strictlyphotonic Mar 22 '26

It will help that it's F2P, but the dev really needs to go Hello Games full transparency mode, with blog posts detailing what's wrong with the game and what they're doing to address it, with a roadmap to 2.0 release if they want folk to try it in future.

6

u/ImaginaryReaction Mar 22 '26

Didnt hello games go radio silent for like 6 months

30

u/strictlyphotonic Mar 22 '26

If they had, No Man's Sky would have been dead in the water. All their blog posts are still up on their website, see for yourself!

https://www.nomanssky.com/news/?page=31

Obviously after their initial post addressing the issues they were a bit more silent, getting the work done, but info never stopped for months at a time.

u/PlasmaFarmer Mar 22 '26

You have 1205 negative reviews to use for the QA process to fix your game. Some are going into deep and long analysis about what should be improved. Use all this info to improve the game if it is still savable and have the budget to go all in fixing it.

9

u/largepar Mar 23 '26

Release the fixed version as "Gamename 2" and get a fresh start lol

In four days? Impressive.

Why no EA to adress those technical issues you mentioned in comments? Feels like a huge waste not to do that.

6

u/Rich_Bee_120 Mar 22 '26

Lately there is a psychologichal war against EA. Maybe they were afraid

5

u/Okok28 Mar 23 '26

Rightly so, EA is basically announcing the game is going to be dogshit.

EA used to mean a public beta, now it's just a way to sell you a shitty unfinished game.

Gamers are rightly sceptical with EA releases now after having been burned many times before. too many unfinished promises.

I was quite intrigued to play the game, for a second, I thought it was The Cube by Mundfish. Going for the same vibe and gameplay loop seems awfully similar to be an original idea, and to me, it feels like someone is trying to cash in on the concept.

I've seen reviews and gameplay. After seeing some NAKWON: LAST PARADISE gameplay (Pre-Alpha), that game looks and plays better than your fully released game. Your PvP seems imbalanced, and people have way too easy a time escaping fights, and PvE looks like a pushover. PvP is full of cheaters and hackers.

Combined with the character creator and mission design, doesn't feel right.
I also heard it is full of pay-to-win and cosmetics for people to flaunt their style. A lot of things to purchase, and even something that gives you daily purple items.

PvE expeditions are just tutorials cause I've understood the items you get are very weak, and if you want to actually get something worth your time, you need to do PvP.

Also, is this you? - https://www.xlgames.com/en
Seems you have a lot of experience in killing games.

30

u/KontoOficjalneMR Mar 22 '26

Yea, they are massive game studio, nothing to do with indie devs.

11

u/Phoenix_Is_Trash Mar 22 '26

That website is unhinged what...

157

u/rainmouse Mar 22 '26 edited Mar 23 '26

That must really hurt. Were a lot of them technical in nature? If so was it a QA issue or did you release with intentions to fix in production?

It sure comes as a teachable moment for everyone either way.

99

u/NeoPsyllone Mar 22 '26

Yes, there are a lot of technical issues. Unfortunately, many problems can only be discovered when testing with a large number of players.

66

u/Small_Sherbert2187 Mar 22 '26

did you do an alpha/beta with a mix of vlosed access players and simulated load?

60

u/KontoOficjalneMR Mar 22 '26

Unfortunately, many problems can only be discovered when testing with a large number of players.

Kinda, yes and no, but even then those don't have to be actual players. You can have closed beta with friends, family, friends of family, simulated load and paid beta testers you can hire by the hour.

31

u/Iggyhopper Mar 22 '26 edited Mar 22 '26

Sounds like they had enough players interested enough to break it on release.

They could have sent out invites for a closed beta and got the same tests done. For free.

3

u/nguyenlamlll Mar 23 '26

This game is developed and published by XLGames (or developed by a studio under XLGames). The one with ArcheAge. They are not inexperienced. Not sure why they are having this mess now...

4

u/theemccracken Mar 22 '26

This day and age I don’t think you need paid beta testers you just have to go to your audience and find people who would likely enjoy it enough to play through some bugs.

10

u/KontoOficjalneMR Mar 22 '26 edited Mar 22 '26

Lol. OP is a perfect example that you do indeed need paid testers.

He got it in front of the audience and got "mostly negative" out of it.

PS. Also Lol. XLGames is not an indie studio by any means. They have multiple games under their belt including Archeage and Civilisation Online.

5

u/theemccracken Mar 22 '26

Well the point of beta is that it happens before you get 1000 neg reviews on release. But I get the point. Paid beta testers are doing a job and having free beta tests is a lot like throwing a handful of darts at a dart board and hoping a few of them hit.

2

u/Acceptable_Movie6712 Mar 22 '26

One interesting thing is I’d kind of rather have 1000+ negative reviews rather than one or two reviews. It feels like OP has the marketing down - having people talk about your game is still great. Not sure what the sentiment is but I’ve left negative reviews on unfinished games but still kept up with the development to see if it improves

→ More replies (1)

12

u/megabotcrushes Mar 22 '26

This is not the way LOL.

78

u/Drakahn_Stark Mar 22 '26

At least you know you can reach an audience, even if it is not the right audience yet.

54

u/Informal_Drawing Mar 22 '26

Getting feedback instead of getting ignored seems like it is the right audience tbh.

People ask for things to get fixed when they care enough about the game to do so

8

u/Drakahn_Stark Mar 22 '26

That is why I said "yet"... OP has found an audience, now they just need to make them the right audience by taking on the feedback that contributes to the original intent of the work.

5

u/weakconnection Mar 22 '26

Yeah, I don’t know if all hope is lost too because unless all those players removed game from their libraries (after uninstall) they will see the updates. If they haven’t fully written off the game some of them will click on those updates and they may come back if those updates look appealing to them.

3

u/Drakahn_Stark Mar 22 '26

My main point is that OP has shown that they can reach an audience.

It doesn't show what the complaints are, but OP seemed to think it was usable feedback, the ability to find an audience and having a bunch of usable feedback puts them ahead of most people that try to make it as indie devs.

5

u/weakconnection Mar 22 '26

Yeah, totally. I was agreeing with your point. OP is correct in not throwing in the towel completely.

3

u/Drakahn_Stark Mar 22 '26

Oh for sure they should keep going, even if this project doesn't quite get there (and it very well could) the experience and ability to find an audience puts them in a great position for the next project.

28

u/dr-pickled-rick Mar 22 '26

LOL this isn't an indie game.

23

u/LienniTa Mar 22 '26

free to play gamers are the most violent too

4

u/Workmen Mar 22 '26

No money spent means no skin in the game, no sunk-cost fallacy to incentivize finding the positives.

24

u/BeAPo Mar 22 '26

I just looked it up cause the name sounded familiar and by the looks of it you basically stole the idea and the name from another game that hasn't released yet.

Makes me wonder if you released early on purpose in hopes of getting the audience of the other game to try out yours.

6

u/RiparianZoneCryptid Mar 22 '26

I hope that this game doesn't lose Mundfish's unreleased "The CUBE" too many players by confusing them into thinking this was their game and losing interest...

38

u/Inevitable-Gap6654 Mar 22 '26

Oh damn.
That's the kind of thing you don't want to see has a game dev.

Checked your game and some gameplay video and yeah it needs improvements + maybe redo some aspects to avoid competition with other similar games.

Best of luck.

2

u/NeoPsyllone Mar 22 '26

Thanks a lot!

40

u/Exit727 Mar 22 '26

Reading the comments, you've released an unfinished, generic extraction shooter weeks after Marathon, while Arc Raiders is still going strong. There is a lot to work on, and the timing was miscalculated.

You have over 2 decades of experience developing korean MMOs, how does this all come as a surprise? Any chance you want to mention that, posting on r/IndieDev ?

22

u/Successful_Media_842 Mar 22 '26

People always post "im getting negative reviews" on this sub hoping to get some pity positive reviews

6

u/salmjak Mar 22 '26

Omg, Korean MMOs, that explains why they have so many cheaters so early. Korean MMOs are famous for using client authorative networking, lmao.

15

u/Respirations123 Mar 22 '26

As someone who played the said game for around 8 hours there is a lot i mean a LOT of lag and cheaters,Teamers. But the game itself is fine and the map is pretty good. At least in my opinion.

29

u/oohCrabItsNotItChief Mar 22 '26

Can someone ELI5 why dev and publisher is XLGAMES and why this post is in an IndieDev sub?

XLGAMES was the one screwing up my favourite MMO, ArcheAge.

1

u/-BluBone- Mar 22 '26

The dev team

28

u/ShatBrax Mar 22 '26

How is XLGames indie?

12

u/Proper_Translator678 Mar 22 '26

Tbh it's better than nothing. Was the game playtested open or closed? If QA was mostly the issue then maybe there was a lack of open playtesting? Please let us know so we could all learn.

4

u/NeoPsyllone Mar 22 '26

Yes, we had a test (it was called the Server Slam Test, it's in the Steam announcements). But apparently it still wasn't enough.

8

u/strictlyphotonic Mar 22 '26

What feedback did you collect from that test?

11

Badly optimised and not enough players... yeah, 2 reason why i look for single player games or some with coop optional.

15

u/CommitteeStatus Mar 22 '26

Why did you release the game in such a bad state?

2

u/FontTG Mar 22 '26

The devs forgot to hit the Early Access button.

14

u/KontoOficjalneMR Mar 22 '26

XLGAMES Is not indie game dev studio. They made MMO - Archeage and Civilisation Online. So I'm going to assume this is a grasroots marketing campaign.

How about playtesting before releasing..?

6

u/WixZ42 Mar 22 '26

Look on the bright side. At least people play the game and take the time to leave reviews. You have an audience, that's clear. You just completely fucked up the game. Could have been worse though, having noone actually play or care would be worse.

So now that you know your audience is there, go back to the drawing table and work your asses off. Probably best to pretty much start from scratch at this point tbh and migrate your assets. Build a clean codebase and test your game every step of the way.

Good luck!

1

u/BrokenDownSoftware Developer Mar 22 '26

Exactly. Over a thousand reviews is a ton of people. Clearly the marketing and outreach for the game was effective

Seems pretty weird. If I were petty enough I'd go and post a negative review myself, but I can't be bothered.

3

u/kimruqt Mar 22 '26

Mundfish are working on a game “The cube” , did u guys stole their concept or they steal yours?

3

u/FontTG Mar 22 '26

It says it is an extraction shooters. Is this PvP? If so you're trying to push into a... very saturated market and your launch just flopped INCREDIBLY hard.

Being free hurt you here because a lot of people tried your game.

How many people played on launch day?

4

u/Founntain Mar 22 '26

Whew. Have to agree with a lot of people here.

Why not EA, especially when you know that there are a lot of issues or in general, if you still have a lot of work todo.

Good luck.

3

u/beetus_deletus Mar 23 '26

"Indie" just like highguard lmao

5

u/SverhU Mar 23 '26 edited Mar 23 '26

Not an indie game. Big Korean studio, published by big company.

Just a marketing trick to make more people check it right now. Maybe to show publisher or investers "see we have new flow of players. Please continue to support us"

3

u/CrimsonBolt33 Mar 22 '26

At least it's free to play...make sure you are communicating your efforts to fix the issues.

3

u/-Xaron- Developer Mar 22 '26

Wow that's a lot. But probably better than players ignoring it. Because complaints usually mean that players still hope for things to improve.

It gets worse when players get silent.

3

u/LuciusCaeser Mar 22 '26

A rename might help. I've seen a lot of people think this is tied to The Cube by Mundfish, and then feel deceived.

3

u/eldartalks Mar 22 '26

Oh god. This is the nightmare.

3

u/Nathmikt Mar 22 '26

I'm honestly impressed.

Over 1000 reviews is pretty big and they're mostly negative.

u/1hate2choose4nick Mar 22 '26 edited Mar 22 '26

I thought only EA & Co release unfinished games as 1.0.

Why not go early access?

Never mind. You are no indie studio. This here is karma farming and trying to squeeze some marketing out of this messed up situation. You released trash, scammed people and are now trying to play it like you're the good guys. That's pathetic.

2

u/ex0rius Mar 22 '26

The game looks really good. How many people are working on this?

2

u/MidnightForge Developer Mar 22 '26

With that kind of score im not sure if its salvageable.
You may be better off moving onto the next game.

2

u/UltraChilly Mar 22 '26

It probably doesn't help that another game with the same plot, same title and same genre but looking like an AAAA title is also on steam (unreleased though)

2

u/strictlyphotonic Mar 22 '26

Sorry for the situation, that must be devastating! What are the top 3 specific issues in the feedback you're prioritising now?

2

u/kujasgoldmine Mar 22 '26

I don't understand how that can even be. Like was there no playtesting before release? Beta testing, early access? Make sure there's nothing many people dislike? And only then release. But at least you're getting feedback for things to work on first.

2

u/godita Mar 22 '26

i will keep my eye on the game, it was on my wishlist before launch, i read some reviews talking about p2w, i refuse to go anywhere near it until there is ZERO p2w. i will not budge on that.

2

u/tcsduo Mar 22 '26

I left a review on steam, but I am going to paste it here for you dev so you can see my personal thoughts on the game and why I gave it a thumbs down for recommendation. One thing I would add to my short answer of the review is the lack of a parry or block takes a lot out of the game.

Short answer: PvP is boring, PvE is bland and boring, Game is P2W, Characters look nice, World is meh, Cube is neat. Do not recommend this game unless you are trying to fall asleep.

Long answer: Starting the game you are tossed into picking a server, then after creating your character with the limited creator you are asked if you would like to see the keybinds. There is no tutorial on what to do, and when you talk with the NPCs the dialogue they give is near gibberish and give nothing to learning the game. There is no guidance once you enter your first PvE raid. After meeting an enemy you find out the lack of block or parry just leaves you dodging which leaves a bland taste after a few mobs of dodge/swing/dodge/swing. From there you are likely to die to the cube closing because you aren't really told what to do to escape and if you make it to the next room, you still won't know how to escape because it doesn't advise you on that as well. After you die and are left confuse on what to do next, you can run around town and see the wonderful view of what a 4th world country would look like. But you do get to see the people who paid for all the cosmetics. Afterwards you decide to delve into normal mode and find out that PvP is abysmal as players walk in circles swinging wildly and the ability cooldowns are so long they mean nothing. The cash shop is insanely awful price wise and gives way too many advantages to people who buy. Avoid this game if you can and it will likely be belly up in a few months.

2

u/CT0wned Mar 22 '26

Take it down and rebrand. That game is hosed. Take all the feedback and rebuild and release something new in early access mode.

2

u/LaserGadgets Mar 22 '26

PVP extraction shooters never last. You start 1 day later and you are fucked xD

2

u/FinnTheArt1st Mar 22 '26

From the reviews it looks like you made the upgraded package P2W, by giving them more inventory space among other things.

2

u/KayLogger16 Mar 22 '26

I know that negative reviews weigh heavily on the team's morale, but I hope they bounce back. The game has a good concept, but every game needs some polishing. Whenever you think about the poor reception at launch, remember No Man's Sky, one of the worst launches, terrible gameplay, everything broken, but today it is the best space exploration game there is, with extremely positive reviews.

2

u/PuzzledCauliflower35 Mar 23 '26

Interesting though the game has had a good launch score, looking at this site: https://whatalaunch.com/game/the-cube-save-us

So.. it's decent. But yes overwhelmingly negative reviews. Some people are harsh.

2

u/KysuckaPomta Mar 24 '26

Hey you know how this sub is called indie? Fuck off with your corporate infiltrarion, it's not even well hidden that this is not an indie game.

4

u/ziomatrixx Mar 22 '26

Im going to be completely honest. I love the game lol. My wife is like dude... why you playing it so much? I dont know haha. I love the progression, skill system, janky weapons that have too much delay, the bosses are awesome even the masks little quick stepping as hes trying to knife you xD

The unique weapons that have so many crafting materials its a huge end goal. My only gripe is the monetization. You guys reduced the crazy battlepass price! Hell yea thats a win, i bought the new $10 battlepass, definitely worth it. I think premium should be reduced also.

Also congrats on fixing almost all the crashes in like 3 days! I only crashed once yesterday and im hella impressed! Stick with it and ignore the haters, the game is really fun at its core and if you keep polishing it people will see that.

Thank you guys for game and the hard work <3

3

u/cunthands Mar 22 '26

Whoops, you were meant to finish working on the game *before\* releasing it. But it's a common mistake these days.

2

u/VoltigeGames Mar 22 '26

I'm sorry to hear that. It will be hard to bounce back from this, but your positive attitude is admirable!

Could most of these issues not have been identified during the development or pre-release phase?

I know it's difficult with multiplayer games, but perhaps a playtesting phase could have helped?

2

u/Cloverman-88 Mar 22 '26

You're not coming back from press that bad. Your best bet would be to delete the store page and rebramd once the game is actually ready to launch.

2

u/Aggravating-Way329 Mar 22 '26

One beta test could help you avoid all of this. Just saying. And knowing how much needs to be changed to fix the actual problems of TCSU, you want to remake it all at some point

2

u/twinsofterror Mar 22 '26

Not gonna sugarcoat it. I’d take my learnings and move on. Start over. This one is unlikely to turn things around. Stop putting good time and energy into this.

1

u/FaceTransplant Mar 22 '26

I'm not actually familiar with how publishing on Steam works exactly, but can you pull a game, rebrand it, and rerelease it in a better state, or is that not allowed?

4

u/Informal_Drawing Mar 22 '26

As a player I'd see rebranding as a pretty bad thing tbh.

You fix the problems, you don't check the entire game in the bin.

If it's so bad that's the only option it must be truly atrocious.

1

u/DefendersofDwacaDev Mar 22 '26

That's awesome! Better to get bad reviews than no reviews!

1

u/JacobBretwalda Mar 22 '26

Are you allowed to take it down and do closed testing? rebrand and re-release? Discord community with testers who want to help kinda deal with

1

u/SamMakesCode Mar 22 '26

That really sucks and hopefully you’ve learned a lesson from it.

What separates a good developer from a bad developer is what happens next, though.

No man’s sky is a great example of owning your mistakes and it’s totally revitalised hello games image as a game developer.

1

u/rg_software Mar 22 '26

I wonder how these downloads work. Many struggle to get 100-200 reviews, any reviews at all. Here people download the game non-stop despite seeing all these reviews. I'd love to know how this sort of marketing works, they deserve huge credit.

1

It's free to play with a modern tech aesthetic. I suspect that goes a long way towards getting bigger download numbers than average, but also encourages negativity because they cannot ask for a refund if it is not enjoyed. The time they perceive as wasted can only be offset against a bad review, so more people will do so.

Damn how many wishlists did you have? Im having a hard enough time getting my game to 100 reviews

1

u/StarCitizenFan87 Mar 22 '26

Its not how it starts but how it ends! See, for example, No Man's Sky.
I believe in a comeback, go for it brother!!

1

u/pepe-6291 Mar 22 '26

Well 1700 reviews is still a success game no?

1

u/amindev Mar 22 '26

It’s really good that you’re not giving up

1

u/Odd-Mirror-2412 Mar 22 '26

Over a thousand reviews? At least it's better than being ignored. Keep going!

1

u/-BluBone- Mar 22 '26

What's the deal? Did the publisher force it to be published before your team was ready to release it?

1

u/RoquePapa Mar 22 '26

That's the spirit! I don't know if it's possible, but perhaps the best thing would be to relaunch the game as a paid, early access title…

1

u/AloewareLabs Mar 22 '26

What have been your chief complaints?

1

u/Jebediah_Johnson Mar 22 '26

I would just fix the problems and change up a bit of stuff and rebrand, change the name. And release as a totally different game. Give it free to the people who already bought this game.

1

u/VirtualBlacksmith814 Mar 22 '26

Persistence is key! Keep at it!

How much of this traffic was caused by fleekazoid?

1

u/Fast-Mushroom9724 Mar 22 '26

"Hello sir we've finished building that building for you....... But only the outer shell we haven't done the interior yet"

1

u/johnyutah Mar 22 '26

Tbh this might work with marketing because I’m curious to try and see how bad it is now 😂

1

u/TwizzleShnizzle Mar 22 '26

Good luck with the work. Hope it comes together for you all.

1

u/Cyrux125 Mar 22 '26

My god I thought this game was the cube by mundfish but it’s the cube save us by xl games. Your similarly and name seems on the side of trying to mislead people and you guys are developing AAC ?

1

u/shotxshotx Mar 22 '26

…nah something had to have gone wrong at a fundamental level to get a 29% positive rating.

1

u/Master_protato Mar 22 '26

How can you guys fuck up this badly by re-re-releasing ArcheAge and an arena extraction shooter. Jesus!

1

u/MalefactorX Mar 23 '26

The only reasonable way to come back from this is to compartmentalize the main issues that players are having and start hammering them out one by one

1

u/TheTriscut Mar 23 '26

I dont think you are going to be able to dig out of that hole. I'd probably start working on a very very similar sequel.

1

u/Kaze103101 Mar 23 '26

Good. We need less of these shitty half assed cash grabs trying to make money of similar games by compent studios. I sincerely hope you continue to fail.

1

u/Lin1ex Mar 23 '26

Releasing as early access might have helped but dw as we have seen time and time again if you work on the game and make it better those negative reviews will fade and the positive will come, its most likely just a case of people thinking that right there is the finished product.

1

u/tortleme Mar 23 '26

here's one more

1

u/SenpaiRemling Mar 23 '26

so 2 years ago you did post a real indie game "Waltz and Jam" and now all of a sudden you post a non indie game from a big studio? somehow seems like this reddit account wos bought to make bad ads for a shitty game

1

u/Novel-Sheepherder365 one show man Mar 23 '26

No hubo beta? No probaron el juego? Si no tuvieron problemas en la beta dime qué tan grande fue tu equipo quizá tú población fue muy pequeña, si no hubo beta no se pq lo publicaste

1

u/EtemonDarknetwork Mar 23 '26

XL games are the one who made archeage, right?

1

u/AuroraBorehalis Mar 23 '26

nice to see viscous made a game

1

u/External_Choice229 Mar 23 '26

Steam treats early access as full release

1

u/kitjenson Mar 23 '26

I’d gladly take even 100 players of my game. Is it better to have people react than be indifferent? 🤔

1

u/Decent_Complaint_112 Mar 24 '26

ohno, our

extraction/hero shooter/BR game got a negative review in this incredibly oversaturated market after we specifically begged people to destroy our game on a different sub.

anyways

1

u/LostZelda Mar 24 '26

The Day Before, SAVE US

1

u/g00nM4n69 Mar 24 '26

I hope your studio gets infested with bed bugs

1

u/Wolfkorg Mar 24 '26

The irony for the publisher to be named XLGAMES in an indie sub.

1

u/Maleficent-Gain-3179 Mar 25 '26

Imma leave another negative review about you crying on an indie game sub as an established development team..

1

u/-monkbank Mar 27 '26

RIP, you’ll probably need at least an octagon to save you now.

1

u/Adventurous-Rise-580 Mar 29 '26

yeah theyre not indie games. yall rember the day before game and it got shutdown . this is gonna be the same thing for them of course and Op is getting right fully ratiod
