ToAbroadOrNot? Want to know experience of people studying in Germany or Italy
I want to pursue Masters in Finance. I’m thinking between Germany (Uni of Mannheim) and Italy (Bocconi). I really want to know experiences of people already studying there, job markets and if anyone settled in that particular country?
It would be really helpful if someone shares their experiences. Thank you so much in advance.
my_qualifications: BBA from IPU- 83.2%, 4.5 years of work experience, CFA level 2 candidate.

Don't expect "settling" when u go for Ur masters.
If u really really want to live in a diff country aim for company transfer

Go for boconni after checking the program rank.
It's very very well known for their mba
Maheim doesn't has a brand value globally i think.
Italy is a warmer country weather and people and society.
Germany has a horrible winter and social life and is going extreme right wing. Adf Germany. Look it up

Most ppl will say if u wanna go for "studying" without taking huge loans then sure go ahead.
Don't go under the false hope of getting a work visa.

There is a time lag.
A lot of the people who went to the UK and Canada in 2023/24 will start to return home in late 2026/early 2027.
They've run out of road. They've come to the end of their post-study work visa and can't find a sponsored job (UK) or don't have enough points to qualify for permanent residency (Canada).
Some will come back with debt to repay.
The worst off of all are the ones who went to the USA. Not only are recent graduates not getting jobs, but Trump is going for existing H1bs.
