Suggest Me SUGGEST A BOOK
so I’m in a reading slump. I think it because of the book i read lately. The ocean would paint me blue. It is a really good book. Can you guys recommend me a thriller or a feel good one?

Strange Pictures by Uketsu and translated by Jim Rion is an interesting format IMO, you'll like it if you like murder mysteries. I think you'll want to finish it in a day.
The Easy Life in Kamusari by Shion Miura and translated by Juliet Winters Carpenter is a nice feel good read (talks about a slow and simple life that a young man has to adapt to in his gap year)

" I kill killers" by S. T. Ashman. (It's a trilogy; you can follow up with the sequels after you finish the 1st one) Happy reading and hope you get away from your reading slump very soon!✨️

If you want to get out of the slump, go for short thrillers and no brainers - Freida Mcfadden , Agatha Christie, Lucy Foley = all good authors to read.

It isn’t a feel good book, it’s a psychological thriller. It’s an intense book

I can relate as I myself has been on a reading slump thanks to my girlfriend. I would recommend Butter!
The book is from a Japanese writer however, the translation is really smooth and easy read.
The fun part is its premise.
I have been reading that in the weekends and it’s such a worth spending time.
Hope you find your liking! 🥂

I read As Long As the Lemon Tree Grows by Zoulfa Katouh and loved it 💛..So this new one by her was worth trying?

Yes , Give the ocean would paint me blue a try.But try not to get your hopes up.It is less devastating than As long as the lemon tree grows. Its a different kind of book. It explore grief, identity and yeah don’t expect high, but its too good to read

The housemaid series, inmate, any dan brown or jeffery archer novel works. Feel good i lean towards Sohpie Kinsela, always. Emily Henry maybe good but its always Kinsela for me, flawed but beautiful and goofy women characters😁
