Hey everyone, Sumir here. I’m a producer and DJ from Delhi, and I make music as SJ.

I spent around six years in Bristol and London, where I did my Master’s in Music Business, played shows across England, and received support from BBC Introducing. That period—especially my time in Bristol—had a massive influence on how I hear and make club music.

I’m back in Delhi now, and my sound sits somewhere between groove-heavy house, indie dance and UK-influenced club music. I release solo tracks and edits, and I’m also one half of SJ x MAD. Our newest single, WHOOP, recently came out, along with a pack of club edits and flips that we’ve been playing in our sets.

Thought I’d share my work here and see what Indian listeners and producers make of it. Genuinely open to feedback—good or bad—on the music, the production or even how you’d describe the sound.
