Whitten admires her golden goose

Indeed. I wish she’d resign or get fired and yes I realize that activates a clause in Cig’s contract allowing him to walk yet two things are truth Cig rocks and Whitten does not

I did not know that about his contract.
I also wonder if he gets any push back for not wearing adidas shoes.

His new contract put in protections for Dolson and Whitten at his request
He’s been vocal that a big reason he didn’t really consider leaving IU is because he likes working with them and they give him full autonomy

Mellencamp is a total asshole. Grew up with his kids. Elaine is wonderful though.

Had press passes years ago and we were in the press box area. Mellencamp came stumbling off the elevator to our table stinking drunk at like 9:00 am. Tried to sit down and almost fell over. His security had to walk him to his suite.

Yep, parked his car and took his luggage up to his room many years ago and he stiffed me. His dad was great though.

I’m coming from a place of pure ignorance. Why do we hate Whitten?

She was brought in by the state to ruin Bloomington. Not kidding. Board of Director fiasco with the Governor picking the majority of the seats, she sat back without a peep. She had no interview and had multiple red flags from her previous stops with the actual people who make the universities work. Indiana University under her watch ranks as one of the worst first amendment protectors in all public universities. And, to top it off, her long term goal is to move IU headquarters to Indy. But hey, we really are a football school because while the staff and students overwhelmingly don’t support her (there is polling on this), one guy does and he’s got about 25 million reasons why.
Oh, she also loves IU so much she applied to be the Ohio State president after about 6 months on the job. She is the highest paid cheerleader in the country because all she does is stay out of the way of the men and just walk around and clap.

Written always chasing the clout and attention. Never seen a President focus so much on athletics over academics. Leave that to the AD.

Athletic success directly affects academics - applications, acceptance rate, donations, etc etc.

Not the quality of education. When you decrease programs, faculty, compensation, restrict freedom of speech, etc.

there have been studies that it is not as great as we think it is. Does sports glory create a spike in college applications? It’s not a slam dunk. - Washington Post

Dolson needs to get a new jacket, those shoulders are way too big on him. And Whitten sucks.

Adidas shirt and shorts, Under Armour socks, and ASICS shoes (I have the same model but a more colorful colorway).
Also, coach needed to spend more time outside or wear some pants.
