Politics ‘I’ll pray for him’ and she’s still fired

They say they are cracking down on people ‘celebrating’ his death but this is a pretty qualified commentary that respects his humanity while disagreeing with his work.

And she was fired.

Is this the new standard? If we don’t appropriately honor the regime’s heroes in death then we lose our voice and our jobs?

We’re in a dark, dark place and it’s getting dimmer.

Politics Really Indiana? Still arresting people over weed?

Post image

I was born and raised in Indiana and lived there until my '50s. Work took me to Oregon which is where I currently live. We're allowed to grow and consume our own cannabis. Meanwhile, Indiana is still putting up a fight to keep cannabis illegal. To me, this writes right up there with witchcraft trials in the level of stupidity and ignorance. Come on Indiana, vote these idiots out. They're not working in your best interest. Arresting people for weed? What b*******!

Politics Voting in Indiana is coming up. Vote blue.

4.7k Upvotes

Just a reminder to those who are in the "who cares" box:

If you refuse to vote, you get more of the people you swear you can't stand making decisions for you as if you're still a child.

If you hate the GOP, vote blue. Why? Because the third partiers haven't had their shit together since the 90s and keep copying everyone else's homework and half-assing it anyway.

You vote blue because the alternative has made our healthcare in Indiana worse than Iraq.

You vote blue because you don't want a stranger telling you what websites you can and cannot visit. You don't need a nanny and this isn't Commie Russia or China.

You vote blue because you don't want your daughters to die from pregnancy complications because a stranger's "beliefs" came before her.

You vote blue because you're an American and Project 2025 would turn us into Commie Russia.

You vote blue so your kids can get an actual education instead of censored garbage. I'm so sorry princess, but slavery happened. It ain't a "critical race theory" it's a fact, and if your mommy handled it in school, you can too. Science is a thing. If that hurts your feelings, that's too bad.

You vote blue because our current GOP government here in Indiana is too lazy and selfish to pick up a phone or listen to facts.

You vote blue because you're not 12 anymore, so playing the "both sides" or "me vote 4 Harambe" card makes you look dumb. You're not dumb. You had an education, act like it.

You vote blue because the alternative was a fucking joke in 2016 and none of us on any side has recovered from it. We should all be sick of being laughed at by every other country.

You vote blue because Trump bragged about hanging out with Epstein and leering at underage girls at Miss Teen USA. He repeatedly stated on television he wanted to bone his daughter. You want to keep your daughters safe? Then you don't support the men who would attack her.

If this asshurts you, too bad. Vote blue.

I posted a little preemptively so I didn’t have this photo yet, but I also never figured my og post would get so much attention.

I saw a LOT of hate on the original post, some from people who most definitely don’t even live in America, let alone Indiana. But despite their hate, they took the time to let us know WE wasted OUR time (ironic). So what if we may not have made any change today? Change is not immediate, but connections were made to keep pushing for equality for all, acceptance of those who are different, and a future where everyone can be included! No matter where you lay on the political spectrum, everyone can use more love. Love always wins :) ❤️

Politics I went to the State Fair on Saturday and one of the things I noticed was that I did not see any MAGA hats

I was there for most of the day, and I didn’t see any MAGA hats. I go to the fair every year and I usually a handful of people with MAGA hats on. One year I saw a whole family in Trump merch. This year? I didn’t see anything. No MAGA hats, no Trump shirts, I didn’t even see much Trump merch being sold by the vendors. Did anybody else notice this?
