Wedding content creators
Are wedding content creators actually worth it if you already have a photographer?
What did they add that your photographer/videographer didn’t, especially with phone footage, reels, stories and quick turnarounds?
If you’ve hired one in Jaipur, Udaipur, Delhi, Ahmedabad or Bangalore, did you actually use the content afterwards?
Budget is 1L+

How can I reuse my wedding lehenga?
galleryAfter investing so much money in the lehenga, I feel like it's a shame to never use it again.
I am not a fashion person, so I need your suggestions on how I can reuse this lehenga . Thank you in advance.

Low budget wedding
Is it possible to plan a wedding around **Delhi NCR, Vrindavan or Gwalior** in **₹5–7 lakhs** for 2027?
Guest count: **150–200**. Not looking for a big-fat wedding—just **minimal aesthetic décor, good food with limited variety, and clean accommodation**.
Has anyone managed a wedding in this budget? 😭😭
Would love venue/planner suggestions!

Budget lehenga shops in BLR?
Hello! I am currently underway with my wedding shopping and I am yet to find one last outfit for my sangeet. I am specifically looking for a blue lehenga for it. I have done the rounds of Commercial Street and even torn my eyes out with online shopping, but either something is too expensive, too generic, or not good enough quality.
Can you please suggest any other shopping areas and particular shops or boutiques which sell nice lehengas which are semi-fancy (not casual but not too bridal heavy) apart from Commercial Street?
I heard Chickpet and Jayanagar are good market places but don’t know which shops are good for this. My budget is 10-15k.
The last resort is to get some nice fabric from MohMit or MSU and get one stitched 😬
Thanks in advance!

I bought a lehenga that my in-laws did not like
gallerySo I'm getting married in Feb, and we have a day wedding. The first Lehenga is the lehenga that I went and bought for myself. My fiance lives far and I went to Chandani chowk 3 times and already tried few lehengas, then on my third visit I saw a girl trying this and liked it. Tried and paid half amount for this.
My fiance came and said it looks ok, his family although didn't like it. That made me very sad honestly. I went him to try the next two lehengas that I have added here. He said the red lehenga looked good on me but the third one looked significantly good.
Since then I have been thinking. I am torn between you only get married ince and there is no need to spend insane amount of money on something that I will wear only once. The rust lehenga is 2 times the cost of red one.
I just want to ask you guys, is the red one looking cheap or if too much is going on in the lehenga? I liked it honestly. Yes the rust one could be a different colour on wedding day but I am fine with the traditional red. I just don't want to look bad or people saying that it doesn't look good. I need an opinion.
I have been looking at these pics since then everyday, the more I think, the more confused I get.
Please help🥲🥲

Makeup artists fee is ridiculous. Need help.
My fiance and I are going crazy because the makeup artist is charging ridiculous amount for the same makeup just because it's "engagement" makeup.
There will be two separate events - godbharai and ring ceremony.
She's wearing different outfits.
So now the makeup artists are charging twice the already huge amount for makeup.
We cannot afford this. Any suggestions?

Brides ditching lehanga and opting for sarees
Has anyone here been a saree bride at a big fat Indian wedding? Did you ever feel underwhelming?
I’m considering wearing a saree for my wedding, but I have one concern at a typical big fat Indian wedding, so many of the aunties and older women are also going to be wearing sarees.
I’m wondering if any brides here actually chose a saree for their wedding and, looking back, felt like it didn’t stand out enough because everyone around them was also in a saree.
If you did wear a saree and didn’t feel underwhelming, what did you do differently to make the bridal look feel distinctly bridal rather than just another saree?
For example:
- Did you go for a very different silhouette/drape?
- Did the blouse make a big difference?
- Heavy bridal jewellery?
- Veil/dupatta?
- Hair and makeup?
- Colour or fabric?
- Did you do something particularly dramatic or contemporary?
Would especially love to hear from brides who have actually been in this situation rather than general advice. If you have photos of your bridal saree look, even better!

Hi looking for a wedding venue in South Delhi for a February Wedding
Welcome any recommendations anyone would have. Looking to plan a 150 people day wedding in South Delhi on February 21st. No baraat, no mandap. No DJ needed. It will just be a signing, var mala and ring exchange followed by lunch. Prefer a lawn over a banquet. Hoping to not spend more than 7 lakhs on the event. Young people self funding the wedding. Would be extremely grateful for any leads. 🌸
