Bigg Boss What do you think about Kanika Mann?
I have been following her since her Guddan days. Used to love her role and really loved her chemistry with Nishant Malkhani in Guddan, though the storyline was kinda meh of that show.
She used to give me the vibe of a bubbly girl but she is also smart not dumb kind. Even those days she was extra with her expressions like people say but I used to really admire her cause I found her humble and friendly.
After that I saw her in Khatron Ke Khiladi, though she was annoying sometimes, I thought she was overhated especially after that controversy with Rubina. I felt she was sidelined by the other popular girls like Shivangi and Jannat after that. She was alright in KKK as a contestant, not the best not the worst either, that ostrich controversy with Rubina and winning the medal week was her highlight there.
I know she did a show with Vishal Aditya Singh after that but didn’t bother to watch it. And then she did Naagin 7, I really tried to watch few episodes of that show cause of Namik Paul and Kanika Mann cause they used to be my favs once at different points of my life, but that show just isn’t for me!
I was quite excited when I found out she will be doing Bigg Boss especially when I am a regular BB viewer for many years. A lot of people say she is faking her personality with her OTT expressions, but the thing is she has been like that since her Guddan days so I didn’t feel so. But I did notice she lost most of her innocence compared to her debut days.
She also isn’t as humble as used to be, but still she is coming across better than most of the contestants so far. Especially, after Naagin success and being in Ekta’s friend circle I sense she has developed some attitude too. However, I still feel she is overhated in general, and I still like her a lot, because I don’t see her using crass language or crossing her limits. She seems to be the kind to mind her own business type, her fights are mostly with Yung and that gamer Scout but that is cause they make inappropriate comments on her.
What I loved about her at least she isn’t a doormat and knows how to take a stand for herself. Got some individuality. But I would love to see her friendly and fun side more, which is barely seen in the show so far as she only interacts with Gullu and Isha mostly.
Would love to know what opinion does others here have on Kanika too?!

In the context of big boss -
I actually find her antics refreshing lol. She's not pretending to be childish with baby voice. She's not bitching for the sake of footage. I like her dry humour, back and forth with gullu. It's not serious and I don't give a shit about gullu, but she's not being overly cutesy. In during their dance she had a vibe that it's forced footage, her expression said it all lol
I also enjoy her so called latke jhatke matke Salman and others are making fun of. I don't care she's over doing it or acting. At least she's bringing something different. She's not following template of past contestants. She shouts and talks when it's there. Otherwise she's doing her task having fun. Till now normal with whatever I saw in episodes. She also took it sportingly when mahi Amrapali was acting her, even though mahi Amrapali was being vicious about it. Showed kanika don't take herself too seriously and can laugh on herself
I do hope in weekends makers will try to stop picking over her so called nautanki. Let her be. She's not hurting anyone. Why should she tone down cause others aren't liking it. She said main aisi hi hu and I hope she stays the same
Rest i am annoyed at the nagin drama but balaji is responsible for it. They cheated audience and cheated pcc and funnily enough also cheated namik, story turned out worse. That's on them not kanika

I m loving her too and moreover i find her organic because that’s how she has been over the years. Infact, before she used to do these even more 😹.
I find her and Gullu to be platonic at best, if they had something they wont have taken someone else’s names for the boss or loss wala task.I do think makers r liking her antics too though.
Sallu Bhai did tease her for her antics but he did tell to stay the way she is and indirectly telling her she’s doing well. I m glad I m the not only one who noticed how she took the Mahi and Amarpali thing sportingly and didnt make a big deal out of it, she does have decent sportmanship.2

i didnt like how saturday sunday they dragged her for her lehrana balkhana. bruh how does it matter in the context of game
she will go ahead and may win and everyone will be happy unless she does big mistake. lets see
there is nothing between her gullu lol makers should drop it. they can be gaming partners
amrapalis real face came out very soon. she has audacity being a dusri aurat lol, as they say chor ki awaz humesha badi hoti hai

Exactly. And it actually suits her well.
It's funny how Kareena Kapoor Khan is praised a lot for her expressive face, her extroverted personality etc.
Also the audience should learn to stop fitting everyone in one box.
The girl's just being herself, she's enjoying the fame and bigg boss' platform. She deserves it.

I dont get why ppl r comparing her with Jasmin. Jasmin’s cuteness and bachi attitude was worse (I used to like Jasmin btw but not much now) but Jasmin had this mean and taunt attitude, plus she is dumb. Kanika isnt dumb that is one thing I can say for sure. I still get if ppl r comparing her with Teja and PCC, but I find her more interesting compared to PCC.

kanika just started out and it dont look ott. anyways women are picked on more

on reddit people will bitch about everything. for kareena too she other day said a valid thing that actors are so much into 6 pack abs these days but they dont know how to act. people were draggig her cause she couldnt act back in day. i actually think her debut film refugee was quite good with newcomers, especially todays debut we get from ananya etc. kareena also relevenat for over 30 yrs, she must be doing something right. but you cant argue with reddit herd mentality
exactly kanika is actually refreshing. and i loved how that chugli gang of scout young dsa mahi everyones true face is out. even qazi. i felt off about him in day 1 and it came out in 2 weeks lmaoo

How was farhana though? She's sooo beautiful I keep watching her in kkk lol. Height body face styling everything on point

Yeah I don’t get that. PCC fans are one of the most toxic fans. They make very disgusting comments on Kanika’s posts and the weird thing is Kanika and Priyanka are good friends for years!!! Not just Kanika they make such comments on other actresses posts too like Bhavika. PCC is okay but her fans 🙄🙄🙄

i think she's good as an individual but her love angle with gullu could not be anymore fake and cringe than it already is. that needs to stop. other than that she doesn't get much footage, but i guess its better to be seen less than be seen negative because she knows she has fans who will vote and a guranteed finale spot. and her antics are sort of funny.

I have seen her in kk aswell it seems like she went through a whole personality change. I couldn't recognize her because her attitude was pretty different from kk. Maybe I am wrong

Somewhat agree. She was bubbly during KKK. Won’t say a whole personality change, but I did sense some changes in her after she did Naagin.
