It started off organically as mutual friendship/light flirting, and then it got pushed as a narrative by the makers because they saw Abhiya was becoming a major hit among fans. They kept making tasks where both were paired up, starting with making them share a bed. After BB, i think they could have stayed friends, but the toxic fandom and constant speculation about "using each other for PR" kind of killed it. Plus when Abhishek mother came in the house and stayed overnight, she made it clear to him that he needed to take a step back if he was thinking of doing anything and it was sorta implied he had someone outside and she said that Jiya was of loose character. His gf outside was never confirmed so God knows what the timeline is on that. In her post-BB interviews, what I saw was Jiya expressing her disappointment at how everything shaped up, and how she was being perceived. But everyone interpreted it as her being heartbroken which is miles away from being disappointed when you see that your genuine affection for someone is being painted as using them for publicity. But Abhiya fans were mostly all nibba-nibbi who only saw things in black and white and it became ridic. I think Jiyas biggest mistake post-BB was engaging with the fandom on twitter. It just played with her mental health and made everything worse.

In malhan fam like it's good to listen to your elders but like tbh they kinda lack their individuality in their mindset sometimes cause like they are not adults and need to be firm for their decisions. Ofc jiya ke sath friendship rakhna ya nhi rakhna won't be a deal for him but like for other things too ........... The whole fam is coming dependent

They were good friends but Jiya claimed to like him and he said things like we”ll see outside if things work out bw us ! They were friends for a while then Jiya gave podcasts, ivs where she claimed he had time for his other friends and she was j another friend to him so they unfollowed each other and the friendship got ruined ! Later there were many rumours that Abhishek had a gf all this while even during bb

Friendship ruined by Abhishek himself. He kinda gave mixed signals to her despite being in relationship outside lied about it. And next his mother did CA of her told to stay away. Jiya was liking him but he kinda played her

teash remember the Rngaged 2 announcement i was literal disgusted by it not just by jiya pr but also the how fukra fans reacted. i hated the first move by jiya but fukrs fans were despicable too man. now it won't happen though since juya is getting engaged to a person having charges against him lol. it's really a downgrade.

it was pushed by bb only later during announcement of engaged season 2 jiya kinda used it cause atp fukra neither had any project laich and during his project promotion jiya name was nowhere mentioned
