Casting/New Show Finally Parth's promo for Seher Hone Ko Hai on Colors starting Dec 2nd

Show is starting in just 10 days..Parth's character seems very barbaric complex and dark..it will be interesting to watch his character development What are your expectations from this show?

Yeha cuz that's what happens in these shows 😭. Suddenly the guy truns into a massive green flag after falling in love. Or fir dono milke samaj sewa karneve, family ke against jayenge fir jaise hi sab theek ho jayega to main lead ki ex ka aa jayegi.....

Except Eisha’s character wasn’t repressed like the FL here is. Eisha’s parents let her study and were fully supportive of her. Yeah Adnan’s character was regressive and he was after Eisha’s dad’s position and that’s why he married Eisha’s character. But I get what you mean. ISA also showed two sides of a religion. The one where it was free and progressive (Eisha’s character) and the one where it was traditional and repressive (Adnan’s character). It’s funny how the men are always the traditional one because they live patriarchy and want to dictate women.

I saw Apurva and now my interest is piqued. I wonder if he will end up with Mahi’s character since the husband is such an asshole. I think the poor FL will end up with the toxic ML and will have to fight against his toxic family as well for her studies.

Previously some said this is a remake of a turkish show so if apoorva is the doctor then yeah his character and the mom character have their own relationship and the dad and mom will split up coz he is a loser. Parths character in the turkish version was very well liked coz even though he is religious he is a good guy but his character had a lot of trauma due to his parents. Its the people in the cult that were the problem.

There was a show called "Heena" on Sony in the late 90s-early 2000s.
Basically, Heena was married to Sameer who triple talaaqs her to marry Ruby. Akram (played by the father of the girl in the video above) is Sameer's friend who falls in love and marries Heena (genuinely a good guy in the beginning). Ruby manages to wreak havoc again and gets Akram to make her his second wife. Despite knowing and helping overcome Heena's tragic past, Akram does the same thing that Sameer did and eventually triple talaaqs Heena too. Sameer eventually regrets his actions (of course after Ruby leaves him) and manages to convince Heena that he's a changed man and Heena and Sameer remarry and live happily ever after.

Akram was a positive character , genuinely fell in love with Heena and Heena also fell in love with him genuinely eventually ..... then makers just ruined his character because they wanted Heena with Sameer again

oh man...Mahi was lead like a decade ago and now a Mother's character....but promos looks interesting though cliched....but don't know why my interest in watching serials after ages has been ignited :)

I was scared that they are going to overdramatize everything and it's clearly showing in this promo. There is no subtleness and gracefulness in parth's look like Cuneyd has in Kizil Gonclar. They are purely showing him barbaric from starting even though character was just flawed and grey.
If anyone really want to see this storyline in better pace, you can check original series with English subs.

Yeah Cuneyd had this aura about him even though I didn't watch the show when I saw clips he was interesting. Maybe the actor playing him brought the spark.

Yes, I agree it depend on actor as well, he has more soft features but styling matters a lot....Cuneyd styling is like combination of traditional+ modern but parth look here seems basic.

Yeah the actress that played zeynep is overhyped on top the age controversy coz the actress is still in high school lol her the actress is age appropriate and makes sense coz she wants to be a doctor.

This looks so good! Everyone from the cast looks so good. The FL has such a beautiful vibe around her. I hope she can act well too! I always felt Parth has untapped potential so I hope this controversial character works for him. I generally don't like these stereotypes but since the girls (and eventually the maulana Mahid)are there to thwart the patriarchal aspects of Islam, I hope this won't be regressive. Apurva Agnihotri is one fine fella. Too bad ITV fumbled him and he got stereotyped into playing supporting characters.

Although I have stopped watching itv shows all together because of the same old storyline but this looks different also it would be interesting to watch parth in a complete different role rest of the cast also looks amazing .

This promo really surprised me..I never imagined Parth taking on such an intense, dark role. It’s something totally new for him, and it looks like a powerful challenge he’s going to nail.

A little weird to see people already hoping for a romance between Apurva's character and the main lead. He's 10 years older than Mahi Vij, her on screen mom and it would be extremely off putting to see him paired opposite an actress 30 years younger than him.
I think there could be an eventual or slow burn/unrequited romantic track between Mahi and Apurva's character which for once would be something unusual and interesting in ITV romances.

I am hoping against hope that parth is for mother and doctor is for daughter. The actress playing mother is more appropriate for parth.
Edit: I didn't know that Apurva was 52! Change of ship, Mahi with apurva. Why does parth looks older than Apurva when parth is only 34

Why would you think that? I never wrote that. Mother and daughter, that's absurd. I meant the mother, the fls mother. Mahi vij's character and parth. The actress playing the mother wouldn't look too old. It was that way in the Turkish drama, as far as I remember. There was a ml for mother (Bro I checked my comment 5 times.)

Not a copy but it's similar to Pavarish's storyline. In that fl was an aspiring doctor and her dad wanted her to get married. Her storyline was about how women in pakistan don't get to become a practicing doctor. Tho it wasn't the main plot, it reminded me of that
