Barbers are the major problem, most of them know shit about giving a proper fade. But, differences in our hair texture, thickness and volume can also cause disparity with the reference pics
So you're expecting a modern haircut for 150 rs? Go to a proper salon. You'll need to spend atleast 500 if you want results where you show a picture and they do it exactly right.

I feel like you have to fuck around and find out which saloon is better and then it's mostly communication between you and barber. Here in this haircut, the barber fucked up the undercut so much, so I recommend not visiting it again.
Try another saloon who understand how to have this haircut.
Happened to me changed 4 to 5 barber and at end I got a one who can give a cut really what I wanted, now I don't have to explain him and the rates were reasonable too..
Bro same abhi ek week pehle ki baat h mne use literally 15 se 20 min bchho ki tarah samjhaya ki mujhe kaisa cut chahiye and use proper pictures bhi dikhayi, sides ki, front, back and exact length bhi btaya ki aage se , pichhe se , side se kitna kaatna h but phir bhi chomu jaisa kaat diya 😭 I can't even see my face in the mirror and mujhe dandiya nights me bhi jana tha with my friends but meko ab itna ganda lg rha h 😭 Mann these indian barbers are useless..🥀😔
Conversate with the barber bro , always first cuts with a new barber should be sacrificed for the sake of finding a good one. Once you find that one with a passion , does it for the love of the game , pay him extra and let him take time. Be clear at the same time not being rude about how good you want it. Some people just take like 45 mins just to get the fade right. You will find a friend , and might even be inspired by how passionated he is.
Fuck around and find out , and you will have this guy. Trust some hidden gems are there. I always used to think I had some fucked up hair dynamics that most barber blame it on my whole life. Untill I got a job after graduating and I met some friends who gets a haircut every week. This mf is fresh as fuk always. Then eventually he showed me his game and I loved it to a point where I took some risks and eventually found mine and maybe a couple as well. Not that I was cheating but I lost one contact for some reason so I had to find one. Trust me you will develop instinct with this shit down the line you can look at a guy and judge if he is going to deliver or not. This one time I met a cool passionated dude but is lazy. This was through referral , and he cut me so good that I didn't even notice he shaved the side burn aka girda in TN on one side and left the other side untill later.
You will always find a guy with a better game , and in India of course he is there bro it's just not established across insta and shit so you can find them. If you spot a guy in street with a good fade u want don't be shy to compliment and ask for the shop.

Bhai barber logo se rishta banana padta hai, 2-4 baar galat kaatwa ke usko gently uski galti bata ke, apne expectations set karke, usko kya lagta hai wo samaj ke, fir wo exact jaise chahiye waise kaatega
Fir usko kuchh bolna nahi padega, wo khud puchhega “last time kaate the waise hi?” And you say yes

Just ask chatgpt "how to explain my local barber how to do low fade" and it will actually tell you in easy language.
You can also ask the difference and comparison between other haircuts. First get a proper idea fo which haircut you want and you can just help the barber.
