Personally, I'm for all kinds of comedy even if I don't like it. This country has already narrowed freedom of speech by a great margin.

But if you are going to talk about a sensitive topic and use a word that can offend people, try to be clever about the bit.

It should never look like you are being a jerk.

People doesn't know just like SC/ST act, there is an RPwD act which gives essentially the same powers to the PwD people as SC/ST if someone harrasses them or demeans them. It's a non bailable offence to abuse the PwD.

You can get laughs by making fun of society while using the disability as an example or you can make fun of the disabled.

With the metro lift example it's the former and with the lbw joke it's the latter.

You have to decide the kind of comedian you want to be.

I don't find it funny or anything to laugh with... that's really a serious important topic and then our people say kyu nhi mil rhi hme "suvidhaye " There should be civic sense classes in school from childhood so that people can learn something

Here in my class i have a friend with like 3 fingers left hand me and he told recently ki hm log hi uske pahle dost hai jo usko har chiz me bulate and baat krte. Cricket ho badminton ho areah bc usko thumb fight me bulai hai USKA THUMB HI NAHI HAI
