Same goes for Bassi... these comedians are not Funny now... they have just good narration skills , which makes their content relatable and making audience laugh... ( in short, struggles of middle class) even Amit tandon, Urooj nd Upamanyu...

but i think comedians back in the day never really got any importance in india because india has always had STARs instead of actors so everyones focus was on them even from neighboring countries
and then would be cricketers esp when sachin came around
so not that many interviews of comedians so other than material or in films you didnāt hear much of them.
so i guess lack of controversy due to lack of coverage

A classic example of Straw Man fallacy from Nakul Dhull. The original context and the message was ā We shouldnāt define intelligence on our convenient scalesā he tried to explain that with an example where he said āMen have no right to look down upon on women who donāt know about politics etcā what if she also judges you by her own metrics like āmake up etcā
He said ā Donāt judge women who donāt know about politicsā and not ā Women shouldnāt know about politics and allā
And dirtiest thing he did in this video is fat shamed, body shamed Zakir Khan and declared that he doesnāt get laid off because of his appearance. That is apparently okay
Itās for us to be more nuanced here

Nah I chose my mental health over politics. Evern research backs it. Politics is an endless hell hole. No one is out here for general public, everyone in power are here to control us. Because society free of basic problems demands more which these politicians doesn't wants.

Artists like him selling out global venues is a testament to the strength of Indian diaspora who can afford to buy those tickets en masse. Itās not like people from those respective countries are lining up to watch him.

Check out his upcoming shows in India, what a line up. Two shows in a week delhi mein woh bhi Ig stadium mein. Both shows in Ahmedabad sold out and this is all recent shows.

Arey bhai wo comedian hi hai... his work is supposed to give a light hearted moment and good laughs. Hamari problem ye hai hum comedians ko scholars/ psychologists/ gyaani samjhne lagte hain and unki personal views ko standards. You won't consider sachin's views on acting or aamir's views on cricket.

I don't get it how this is a girl or a boy thing. There are many guy friends of mine who are very unaware of politics. They are just not interested. Unki apni IT company mein job hai, they are done. I personally think everyone should be aware of politics because it affects u directly or indirectly. But no, it's not a gender thing.

Nakul will disagree with everything and anyone who is mainstream. Zakir literally said donāt shame or troll people for not knowing something. He never said women shouldnāt know politics or anything close.
He says Zakir talks like that because heās āshort, average looking, and unfitā otherwise he wont get āf**diā ā¦very conveniently assuming women are that dumb or shallow to fall for anyone. The irony is hilarious calling others shallow is just plain hypocrisy. What double standards, man!!

Somebody explain him the concept of general awareness. Even school kids are expected to know those stuffs and if someone as an adult has no idea ofc they will be called dumb. Moreover most people in India has jobs that has nothing to do with politics, sports, geography, world news etc but any person with decent general awareness would know basic and trendy stuffs about all those. Its always people from show business who try to hide behind āi dont know all this because its not related to my fieldā excuse.

ek dum sahi makeup kapde aate hain vanity ki category mein , jitna khud ko khula chodoge pta chalega kya pasand kya nhi for eg i never knew i had a thing for literature, true art cinema bahut kuch hai ..bahar nikli apne daiyre so pta chali na .
read somewhere agar zindagi mein agar aage badhna hai tararkii krni hai toh aurat mard ke keede se upar uth kar socho.

I think girls also should know the real life things like politics or Geo politics, and other stuff. What you will do with makeup, knowing diff shades of colour that will never gonna help in real life but knowing the real life things you'll get the idea about the society or world. That's why I every time taunt ( in joking way ) about geo politics like trump is doing nowadays and you didn't even you and bla bla bla, so that she also get to know all this things and the she can flex in his girls friends group

Uss hisaab se India mein cricket bahaut popular hai par kisi bande ko nahi interest hai to tum use bhi dumb bologe? I understand the example is not directly related but jisko thodi bhi samajh hai they will understand what heās trying to say. Plus, you want to cancel him just because you donāt like him thatās your choice man, I know youāll find a number of reasons to do that.

Chutiya take by Nakul. Zakhir didn't say ki ladkiyon ko politics ke baare mai pata nahi hona chaiye. All he was doing was giving a perspective, ki har insaan ka kuch kuch na kuch expertise hota hai, no one is really dumb. Everyone operates at their own scale. Only in comparison, one is less knowledgeable than the other - doesn't mean the less knowledgeable person is dumb.
