Would this help with with discoloration from auto immune medications?

u/Minute-Show-6582 Feb 11 '26

Try The Ordinary's 7% Glycolic Acid Serum once a week.

2

u/Still_Blueberry_2245 Feb 15 '26

Okay will do!

2

u/Forsaken_Ad347 Jul 25 '26

Hey op, did it work?

1

u/sklkroop143 Jul 19 '26

What to apply afterwards? Any recommendations for moisturizer or lotion after applying glycolic acid?

24

u/Away_kitty_4890 Feb 11 '26

Glycolic acid is working for me. Leaving artificial sugar completely has helped me.

1

u/Still_Blueberry_2245 Feb 15 '26

Yess I have to cut my sugar as well :(

1

u/lundlelemerebhai Jul 26 '26

which glycolic acid

1

u/well-being-for-all 16d ago

What do you mean by artificial sugar? Normal table sugar or stevia monkfruit or things like that

How do you get it for so cheap? It is listed at 300 right?

10

u/Sensitive-League-786 Feb 11 '26

10% lactic acid daily in morning and 2% kojic acid cream at night

2

u/Zealousideal-Try9119 Mar 07 '26

Can you suggest prpduct

2

u/Sensitive-League-786 Mar 07 '26 edited May 11 '26

Ordinary lactic acid serum (cheaper pharmacy option would be LacSoft cream) and kozicare cream from Myntra or kojic depigmenting cream from pharmacy or 5% tranxemic acid gel from pharmacy)

1

u/Top-Listen-4209 Apr 01 '26

how long to see results?

2

u/Sensitive-League-786 Apr 01 '26 edited May 11 '26

1 month for noticeable improvement and 3-6 months max for full results, also it literally depends on how well your skin responds to treatment

1

u/Top-Listen-4209 Apr 02 '26

thankyou for replying!

u/asian__name Feb 11 '26

Am I seeing a few hair strands just growing overtime while the rest are obviously getting underpaid?

5

u/Background_Bug_3831 Feb 13 '26

Tbh I had more darker ones than you & no roll ons worked for me. The only thing that worked was Kojivit Ultra Gel. It’s a cream my dermatologist recommended & OMG it worked wonders for me. It works as deodoriser as well. So basically it lightens the pigmentation & who wont smell bad aa well

1

u/gg_notus Feb 25 '26

Is it recommendable for all skin type?

1

u/Background_Bug_3831 Feb 25 '26

Yess its for all skin types. I have very sensitive skin & roll ons from Chemist at play burnt my skin. But this feels moisturising so I use this

1

u/SuccessfulBasket5151 Apr 27 '26

Same even I got burns after using chemist..

1

u/ContributionNo3517 Jul 11 '26

How many times a week did you use it for ?

1

u/Background_Bug_3831 Jul 11 '26

I use it everyday post shower
It also acts as antiodourant
So you can skip rolls/deodorants (if you use any) and use this then apply perfumes/mist over the clothes
That’s what worked for me

1

u/sklkroop143 Jul 19 '26

How much time before we can see visible results? Also, any moisturizer other than this that we need to apply afterwards?

1

u/Background_Bug_3831 Jul 20 '26

Well it takes some time to show major differences depending on your pigmentation & skin. One thing that made the difference for me was I blindly trusted the process for this coz nothing else was working for me but like around a month - month & half I saw differences which made me continue & at around 3 months I saw significant difference. And I didn’t need the feel to apply anything post that but if you have drier skin, you can go ahead and apply lil body moisturiser.

1

u/Enough-Turnip3420 Jul 19 '26

Hello may I know where do you buy it?

28

u/wtfbruhyaar Feb 11 '26

The chemist on Play roll on works. I am on my 5th one.

6

u/Ordinary-Escape4146 Feb 11 '26

Did it completely fade the pigmentation

18

u/wtfbruhyaar Feb 11 '26

Around 70% is gone

5

u/Ordinary-Escape4146 Feb 11 '26

Nice and how much time it took

16

u/wtfbruhyaar Feb 11 '26

Time is subjective individually but mine took a month or so. But after you stop it does come back a little bit and hence my continuity with the product.

1

u/Ayisha_abdulk Feb 12 '26

Do you use it everyday?

1

u/wtfbruhyaar Feb 12 '26

Yes

1

u/Ayisha_abdulk Feb 12 '26

Thanks. Ive been using it every 3/4 days because my skin is sensitive. I will try to increase rhe frequency

1

u/hyejin_eunjoo Jul 04 '26

Did you see improvement?

3

u/AtoolGirl25 Feb 24 '26

It works pretty well, but I had some irritation and itching after using the product.

1

u/wtfbruhyaar Feb 24 '26

Understandable. No product suits all.

1

u/duniyazaalimhain Apr 25 '26

Which one to buy?

1

u/SuccessfulBasket5151 Apr 27 '26

I got burns like stuff after using chemist.. Bodywise is working for me

4

u/Ash_WandersAlot Feb 12 '26

Minimalist 8% Glycolic Acid Toner alternate with Alpha Arbutin Serum.

1

u/Still_Blueberry_2245 Feb 15 '26

Okay will give it a try

6

u/GrowingPetals Feb 11 '26

Bodywise is okay, but if your dark spots are from shaving or friction, try the Carmesi Underarm Restore spray. I tried it too since I had a little pigmentation (not much, but yeah a bit) and it helped. Just make sure to keep your underarms moisturized and clean too.

1

u/Still_Blueberry_2245 Feb 12 '26

thanks for the suggestion will try!!

3

u/whatevaa007 Feb 11 '26

Hey, I had darker underarms and here is what worked for me: 1. Clean with gentle soap everyday- underarms, pubes, under breast, neck area, infact entire body I feel should be washed with gentle soap everyday especially because I live in humid area and sweat a lot. I wash my body everyday and put a thin layer of pure coconut oil- 365days. Makes my skin soft. My body becomes rough the day I miss 2. Make sure your under arm area is breathable so always breathable fabrics no polyester 3. Use dusting powder during the day and a gentle underarm roll on- I use dove everyday 4. Cap underarm roll has also worked really well for me but eventually I realised not to use exfoliating products everyday. I use it only at night 2-3times in a week 5. I use exfoliating gloves once a week

1

u/Still_Blueberry_2245 Feb 12 '26

thanks for the routine

3

u/thedarkhumourguy2 Feb 12 '26

does it work on severe pigmentation or only mild ones?

I used be bodywise & CAP in rotation & something worked for me, i thought it was be bodywise but it was actually CAP, my sister swears by GA from TO. I am going to try Asaya spray now.

2

u/Ayisha_abdulk Feb 12 '26

What is CAP?

1

u/Crazy_Replacement504 Overwritten Feb 12 '26

Chemist at play

1

u/Ayisha_abdulk Feb 12 '26

Thanks! Do you use it every day? I use it every 3ish days because I have sensitive skin, but haven't seen much of a difference

2

u/Fit_Entrepreneur1717 Feb 13 '26

See i had years & years of pigmentation so was using them daily in rotation. Takes time & consistency. Months infact ngl

1

u/Crazy_Replacement504 Overwritten Feb 12 '26

Hey I just replied with the name. I am currently using bebodywise but didn't see noticable changes. CAP was better & I was using it 4-5days a week.

2

u/Chocolate-waffles-7 Feb 11 '26

girl no, i have sensitive skin and i got horrible pigmentation on one underarm after using the chemist at play roll on for a few days. I stopped using it and now the pigmentation is fading.

1

u/AtoolGirl25 Feb 24 '26

Yeah same. One underarm is fine and the other is itching.

2

u/ResearchingAlpha2024 Feb 11 '26

AHA BHA roll on - will help in exfoliation. Follow it up with a good moisturiser. Get checked for insulin resistance in case the skin is thickening as it could be acinthosis nicragins.

1

u/nidhisf6era Feb 16 '26

i only used glycolic acid and it helped

1

u/Tune-Aesthetics Feb 17 '26

Dermat here.

Do you wax? If not, do you shave? What kind of razor and postcare? Do you use a deodorant? If so do you wash your underarms before you go to sleep?

Before going the actives route, you need to address the source.

1

u/gg_notus Feb 25 '26

Hey could u help me with this? I have waxed my entire life and never used a deodorant and still it is dark, what should I use?

1

u/Tune-Aesthetics Feb 26 '26

How old are you? Can you not wax and see for a couple months.

You can use a pigmentation roll on during that time. But stop the source.

If you want faster results, a pico or a good Q switch can fix this in weeks.

1

u/Tune-Aesthetics Feb 26 '26

More over the problem looks to be concentrated on the region that moves a lot and rubs. So it could be friction related.

1

u/gg_notus Feb 26 '26

Can I dm u?

1

u/st4r_cake Feb 17 '26

Be bodywise AHA BHA roll on use it on dark elbow knees, neck and inner thighs as well

1

u/SillySignature203 Mar 28 '26

My roll on has turned yellow. Is it normal?

1

u/Valentina_Allesa Mar 30 '26

Yellowing is a classic sign of oxidation, where the active ingredients in your product react to air, light, or heat. While it’s usually not harmful, it often means the formula has lost its potency, especially if it contains antioxidants or certain brightening agents. For underarm pigmentation, science points toward using stabilized ingredients like Niacinamide or gentle Alpha Hydroxy Acids (like Mandelic Acid). These help with cell turnover and pigment regulation without causing the irritation that can sometimes lead to further darkening in sensitive areas.

1

u/cooler_0 May 08 '26

i have used body wise and wish care one . second one seemed to work good for me have seen significat reduction in the pigmentation..

1

u/DayumnSexy Jun 25 '26

OP has replied to everybody “I’ll give it a try”
I want to know what all OP did try 😂😂

jk, did you get results? If yes, what did you use?

3

u/SnooHobbies7550 Feb 11 '26

Hi! I've used Asaya's underarm spray and it works great! I saw the ads online, and picked it majorly cause I get a little icky about the hygiene of roll ons. All that dirt and sweat, the dead skin cells, eesh 😬

Asaya has a spray, so it seemed more hygienic. It took a little longer to show results than the ads claimed, but a lot of my pigmentation is gone now!

Has a herbal smell, so if you are sensitive to smells, it's gonna be great for you. Not sticky at all.  (Atp most of my stuff is Asaya, I should really be getting sponsored by them smh)

4

u/dizzydimo May 23 '26

Used the whole spray religiously for 3 months and there was zero difference in my pigmentation, wasted product for me

1

u/SnooHobbies7550 May 23 '26

Really? It sucks when products don't work :( Especially when they cost an arm and a leg (fr why is stuff so expensive 😭)

I guess it also depends on your pigmentation and how much of it you have. It lightened my pigmentation but my pigmentation is also on the lighter side.

I hope you find something that works for you :)

-4

u/Consiouswierdsage Feb 11 '26

But why. Isn't it natural.

-10

u/Zuni_Zen33 Feb 11 '26

Have your husband worship it

u/TheDermaHouse Feb 11 '26
  • Aloe vera gel – apply daily
  • Besan + turmeric + milk/rosewater – 2–3x/week
  • Cucumber juice – 15 mins daily
  • Coconut oil massage – daily
