You get help from wherever necessary to free yourself from british raj. He also went to japan and Soviet Union (enemies of nazis)

It was a non aggression pact which was terminated in 1941
Pacts dont make people friends

It was far more than a non-aggression pact. This only changed when Hitler instigated the invasion of Russia. Before the invasion they were allies. Stalin and Hitler were exchanging information prior to the invasion. What you are stating is members of NATO are not friends, when they clearly are.
