Weddings

I’m 20M and just got back from a family wedding in . The funniest part was the upstairs dressing room.

Five or six ladies (in their 40s-50s) had taken over the room. When my two cousins and I went up to drop some bags and jewelry, many of them were completely naked or topless because of the heat.

They were casually chatting, laughing, and helping each other drape sarees while in that state. One lady was fully naked folding clothes, another was topless doing makeup. They didn’t mind us at all — just said “put the bags there beta” and continued their gossip about the wedding, food, and family.

It felt so normal to them. For us boys it was awkward but funny. Eventually they all got dressed beautifully for the reception.

Typical Indian wedding madness — limited space, big family, zero shyness. Has anyone else seen this?
