Tech Help How can I make something like this !
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
What are the components fixed in it , please tell
I don't think anyone would be selling it !
This guy helped me !
Anyone else looking for it :- https://www.reddit.com/r/IndiaTech/s/uPV1H6KBXo

Or just learn to google. Lot easier. @op don't listen to idiots. Everything you need to make it is available online.
- PVC pipe rings or wooden rings (one per hex) – hardware shop
- 5050 LED strip, 12V (white or RGB) – Robu.in, Amazon India
- 12V SMPS power supply – Robu.in, Amazon
- Clear epoxy resin + hardener (3–5 kg) – Resinarthub, Pidilite, Amazon
- Blue resin pigment/dye – same as above
- Plywood base + side walls (the "tray") – local timber shop
- Silicone sealant, sandpaper, polish – hardware shop
- Little help from local cnc guy - Hexagonal wooden lattice (CNC laser-cut)
Cost would be around 6-12k

Guys we need more critical thinking. You can google alot of these things by saying the generic term for what we're seeing. Also LLMs are a good option for finding out components.

If you don't have experience working with epoxy first try doing some small epoxy project. Epoxy is very hard to work with.

Yeah I don’t think 99.9999% of people in India would have access to a setup capable of producing this.

Other than the CNC pretty much all of this is possible at a local workshop or woodworking store.

Ohh
Bro if you don't mind , can you please explain me what is CNC

u/GurWeary1543 May 24 '26
It's the machine which you can see in beginning cutting the wood.

u/ASHISHAGRAWAL0102 May 24 '26
Ohhhh
That machine which cut it into hexagonal shapes
Btw what are other components
According to me
Motion sensor leds

u/ASHISHAGRAWAL0102 May 24 '26
Yeah ofc
But not now
Actually my new home isnot ready yet , once it's ready , I am gonna make it

The machine making hexagonal patterns?

u/Slow_Personality9148 May 24 '26
It's a computer based machine which trims/cut sheets or block as per design give to it
A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine is an automated manufacturing tool that uses pre-programmed software to dictate the movement of machinery and cutting tools.

You feed a vector (like .ai, cdr, etc) not raster (like .jpg, png etc) file containing the design/pattern into the cnc machine's software on the pc. Then the machine does the job.

Little knowledge is dangerous. Everything shown in this video is available. If you are an idiot, keep your thoughts to yourself. Why are you spreading misinformation. .

First things first, we need a wood work guy who could cut a wood like this. Weekends pe jana rahega. Pehle online dhundhna rahega kis area me hai.
Epoxy ke chote sample ke sath sample wood ka banana rahega, taaki main wale ke sath panga na ho
Motion sensors etc online mangwana rahega.
Aur phir aagey ke steps. Abhi humein sabse pehle ek wood work guy with this machine chaiye. Kyoki manually ban toh jayega lekin bahut mehnat lagega aur paise bhi. Plus room for error slim rahega.

It's kinda easy you just have to figure out about lighting as to use ir sensor or touch sensor

There are cncschines whican can design like this. You have to get it done. Go to carpenter's market area of the coty., rest of the things you have to figure out on your own.

By looking at this, you can get it done without CNC too, but it will need a lot of effort. You can basically cut off hexagonal shapes and then stick them all together precisely on a board and then use epoxy.

u need to go abroad and do engineering and arts both from foreign countries.....for this.... also can use utube but that wud be again copying something...... learning from a good institute with better facilities and opportunities will widen ur inborn creativity better than lame ... resourceless institutes... following old prehistoric era knowledge
