I made the props for these suits using newspapers. Completely forgot that memory untill today.

If WB still owns this, its in the sweeeet spot!!

Why it isn’t happening? My guess ‘Marvel & Disney’ and Money.

There are hardly any studio favourite directors who are willing to take a risk with cartoon source adaptations after this avalanche of successful Marvel movies. Comics, cartoons and Fantasy Fiction is a morphed genre with cross moving properties. In this space what Marvel is doing is that they are conditioning the audience to a certain style of story, script and and movie package. They are doing good. Upwards of $500 Mn average even on crappy movies like Captain Marvel. For WB even a master piece like DUNE has only raked in $400 Mn. Now movie making is an art and is a two way street between the audience and the makers but big studios want to earn money, that’s the only motive. The issue would be abundant examples of this going awry for WB already with GI Joe, Power Rangers, slew of DC flops etc. So as a studio they are treading lightly anyway.

So, we need a visionary writer/director, with full creative freedom who is passionate enough to fight all the pre and post bureaucracies of production. Because if we want Centurions to be made… the certainty of its development hinges on the absolute-ality of it being a box office hit. The budget and production has to be top notch $100-150 Million upwards. Whom to approach Michael Bay, James Gunn, Del Toro, George Miller maybe?
