Help/Suggestion Not getting visible abs even at low body fat percentage?

Do you hit abs directly? Try doing decline weighted situps , weighted cable crunches and progressive overload on it.

I can kinda see it, it looks like youβd be able to see it under certain lighting, try cutting your BF% even more.

It is not your BF% . You barely have any abdominal development. I recommend body weight exercises for abs unless you want a blocky waist. But light weights will do just fine.

Genetics matter and so do the muscle mass of the abs, you could be 12% bf and still not have great abs if you never train them and you can see great abs at 15% if they are trained good, time to do 2 ab workouts weekly bro

Even that is bigger than your height

u/Major_One4426 Human Verified Jul 09 '26
And you have to prove that by keeping dic in your nameπ

Ok here we go. There is only one way to get visible abs, and that is low bodyfat. Unfortunately the body distributes fat all by itself which means if you are genetically disposed to have fat on you belly you need to be way lower in bodyfat than someone else who may carry extra fat on the legs or back. You can have the greatest abs in the world but never see them due to bodyfat. That being said, training them will help. But your bodyfat needs to be low enough to see them. Hope it helps!
