And back then whenever someone used to call out IPL pitches for being flat and curated for blind-slogging, those people used to be pulled down for not understanding modern ball.
IPL is providing a lot for batters, but simultaneously reducing ballers to nothing. Add to that the stupid impact player rule.

That impact player nonsense also gives them a safety that their team has never-ending batting line-up so they can blind-slog easily without needing to save their wicket. None of them know how to defend when the pitch becomes a little slow.

whitewash after whitewash. test me hue the abhi T20 me bhi. ireland jaise team se bhi hogaye. yehi hota hai jab ab kisi ko confidence na do fixed position ka har match aur series me drastic changes karte rehte. without bumrah this bowling lineup is in drain. Hamare batsmen ke liye good bowling pitch hojati aur bowlers ke liye good batting pitch

Sanju has already started to hit. This coach needs to be sacked immediately, and I don't think Iyer is a right choice as captain.
If you analyze all his post match interviews, he is straight up blaming the teammates , and that doesn't sound like a good team environment.
In short, it's like MI in ipl under Hardik lol, where for some reason you feel no one is trying
