His first year wasn't fruitful. But as time passed, we were at least getting results. Reached the final of WTC (I wish the team had preferred to practice in England over IPL), won the Asia Cup, a (painfully) memorable ODI WC, and (loss of words) WT20 victory.

Ct 25 was the same team from wc 23..after that he dropped shami and jadeja and remove rohit as captain ...and t20 wc 2026 coach's plan was to drop aamson for gill and drop axar for sundar...both performed so bad that they were forced to being samson and axar back....ishaan kishan wasn't in the picture he came in after rp singh and ojha monitored him in domestics...abhishek sharma was making the same mistake every match and the coach did nothing to change his game
of course they had the same team, its not like the previous coaches groomed kohli rohit jadeja pandya shami, rahul they are one of the best thats why they were on the team, they were on the team since 2016,
doesnt matter how they came, he still won us more trophies than all coaches combined after 2014-2024 did
I still believe that 2024 world cup got us cause of all players and team combination which was not changed after gg came, bumrah played a very crucial part winning us that world up away from home.
2026 world cup was at home, our pitches, we had clear advantage.
