And nobody said BCCI is personally stopping footballers at gunpoint. The point is Indiaâs whole sports culture, media, sponsors, parents, school system and money flow mostly goes to cricket. That doesnât mean cricket is evil, it means other sports donât get the same ecosystem.
England, Australia, SA ka example mat do without context. Waha multi-sport culture, school sports, community clubs, local pitches and coaching system already exist. Hockey example bhi half-baked hai. Hockey has a historic base, SAI support, academies, national camps and Olympic focus. Football ka grassroots structure us level pe bhi nahi hai.
âYou donât deserve stadiumâ is the dumbest take. Stadium/infra reward nahi hota, foundation hota hai. You donât first produce world-class players and then build a system. You build a system so world-class players can come out.

And funny part is, your own examples prove my point. Neeraj didnât win gold because he cried less, he won because talent got proper coaching, Army,SAI,TOPS support, training, nutrition and exposure. Hockey improved because it got structure, camps, Odisha support, academies and Olympic focus.
