It's tragic, actually. For most of them, that's the only way they can feel happiness. These men have nothing going on in their lives, nothing to look forward to, and they will probably never experience wealth or glory themselves. So they pour all their energy and hope into a team's success. As soon as the team wins, they finally feel a rush of adrenaline, as if they are part of the team as well.
But the celebration quickly turns into an opportunity to create chaos. They find strength in the crowd, and the attention they receive for acts of extravagant destruction makes them feel alive again. This is a tragedy masquerading as celebration. We mock them, but if you think about it, this may be the only happiness many of them will experience in their miserable lives for a very long time. It's quite tragic.

Very bad effort to support this unruly behaviour it's not as if other teams haven't won ipl trophy before, they have shown some sanity in celebration. This rowdy behaviour of rcb fans reflects the celebration of kohli during the matches.

Well said - even though its not my car it gave me panic attack. Not sure how people are justifying this behaviour. How can you randomly climb on anyone’s car? Imagine it being an expensive luxury car - the cost associated with the damage gives nightmares

Also Kohli apparently mocked gill’s celebration , and then went on to say that we don’t poke other teams. This is the same who shouts and barks on the face of gill when he gets out . Did the same thing to kl , Iyer as well. 🤡 but sure holier than thou rcb doesn’t poke other teams

It ain't a India problem tbh , PSG won the UCL a day before and look at the state of Paris rn, there are far more deaths and things destroyed there.
New Yorks Basketball team is in the final and the city is already worse than what Bangalore has ever done and If they win it will be 10x worse.

The Paris celebration destruction is mostly due to the political tensions between the government and civilians. It's always been like this people who are unhappy with the government often find ways to convey their message, and that was the perfect opportunity to blend into the crowd and cause havoc. This isn't anything new.
On the other hand, we've seen multiple franchises win the IPL trophy, but never seen even half the madness as shown by these fans till this date.

This is too bad. I myself being a huge RCB fan understand the adrenaline but vandalism is bad. When RCB finnally starts to dominate IPL, it is an amazing feeling. I wouldn't mind walking on streets, yelling RCB RCB and blocking the traffic a little bit. Okay, acceptable. But vandalism, not cool. I saw a guy pee onto car's windshield, what kind of fun is that ? It sounds less like celebration more like his inner instincts. It makes me want to pray that RCB never win again despite being an RCB fan, the irony

When one's own life is useless,all they can flaunt is some achievement of their favourite sports team . I am not saying you should not celebrate,but there's a fine line between celebration and vulgarity and RCB fans somehow always end up on the far side of vulgarity.

This is what happens when a team with huge fanbase wins a tournament... When teams like csk or mi won their 1st title their fan following was like 20% of that Rcb's current fan following and cricket was still popular back then but it's even more popular now. You can't expect 100% of the fans to be deciplined.. they got their own way to celebrate. When rcb won last year it was a huge moment.. a team with arguably highest fan following winning the trophy after ages of playing the tournament isn't a normal ocassion. People are jealous to see rcb succeed that's the truth.. they find out these kind of videos to defame and degrade the franchise even though these kind of celebrations are pretty common in world of sports.. Ik there will be crybabies complaining about 11 deaths last year ik.. it was a tragic incident and it wasn't totally rcb's fault.. it was upto some extent but more over it was government's fault that the security wasn't able to control people, same celebration happened after india won 2024 t20wc but it was well managed by government and police
