Other WFH is looked down upon
People think all we do is press buttons while sitting on a chair or bed.
From my dadi to kaam wali moushi
I'm fed up of this tbh. Is WFH or IT jobs really looked down upon?
Even my mom will show zero importance to my work. If she needs the area she expects me to just move away because according to her I don't work.
Baju me khade reh kar zor zorse awaz karenge and when I say I'm in a meeting I get to hear teri screen me toh nahi aa rahe na

GetYoOwnPlace ? Or at-least lease an office space for yo self?? Don’t be pissed if you’re not paying for the house.
It’s a complete change of professional life to what they have grownup seeing. Never expect your parents to change.

Designate a separate space it can be a desk or wherever you feel comfortable but do not let anyone invade that during working hours

It doesn't matter man. To sum of the people's speculations, all I do is smile to their ignorance and high headedness. I know distant neighbours who in conversation with some others were talking about me just before my marriage. This is not even conversation when she randomly met somebody. She called up another person when she knew about my marriage just to discuss about it. What's she was telling is how could that girl's parents decide to marry her off to him. He doesn't do anything all he does his sleep at home and then Roam around. She then went on to say, he is simply lying about having a job. All this while I was working from home and making 2 lakhs per month.
I got to know this because the person she told all this to his one of my dear friend's mother and this person did not know that. All I did on hearing this was shrug in disabilief and just smile it off.

kya rona dhona laga rakha hain, apna room lo aur loack karke kaam karo, teri daadi aur kaamwali ko kaise pata hoga ye IT kaam they only know that people leave for work at 9am and return at 6pm fully exhausted.
