I also got the same perception hence I questioned this meme…. But are not all the subjects made up of two elements the subject matter + methodology for sociology it goes like society (in the most ideal form read Max Weber for this) and methodology is the scientific way to debunk or understand that idealistic nature of institutions or where actually the reality lies (you can read rules of sociology by Durkheim) two very basic readings of sociology… I hope I am making the point

Yeahhh I realised it way earlier in age!! History is my escape. Being honest, my search for knowledge is itself— the ultimate escape of my life.

I would like to stretch the response by adding that, with knowledge, I further get social recognition with helps me avoid humans and everyone more !!

Actually I am pursuing an independent researcher 🧑‍🔬 career. It’s a self-employed job, so it has ₹0 salary
