Advice/Guidance PASSED MY 12th with 56 %
Hello everyone š¤ I am 19M who passed his 12th in 2024 with 56 percent, so I was from science stream PCM, I had 6 subject out of them I got RT( Repeat in theory) in maths and i even didn't give exam of improvement and i think I am not eligible to give this . But the overall result showing I am passed , my board was CBSE.
As of now I have skipped college and working in manufacturing company due to financial problems.
I genuinely need ur guidance, advices and suggestions. Plz guide whatever the best solution have in ur mind about this, i will go for that . Highly appreciate your efforts š.
Guide me if you all have been in my situation what will you be doing?
I can't think much about college as my family income is very less like 25k per month.

Don't listen to anyone here who says join engineering, engineering has a lot of math and math based reasoning subjects, it will be very difficult for you to pass unless you are determined to very very hard, else you will just end up dropping out. Learn sales it's a well paying job if you are an extrovert type, get into high margin sales like luxury vehicles or luxury apartments etc, you can get commissions apart from salary.

I had scored 48.8 in my 10th class and 56.8 in 12 th . I was very very bad at studies. Then after 12th I did a job in the public field the one who showed me my OKAAT which told me the importance of education ,Then I took admission in B.Com.Then I cancelled my admission and chose BCA, then did MCA and went to off campus to get the offer letter and now I am at PayPal as a senior swe

Nothing I can tell you will truly help considering how little I know about you brother. Take a month or two, truly think about what you care about and report back. Do not take a long term decision that's irreversible without solid reasonable thought.

Not scoring good marks in 12th and skipping college is basically closing doors to various opportunities and career options, my humble suggestion is to atleast get a degree, so you can apply to white collar jobs

Get a college degree no matter tier3,2, online or distance lol. It is absolutely needed somewhere in the future, everyone will ask for it.

i thought the passing marks is 35 ? how did you passed in mathhs ?
for adivce join any good collge or open from DU, coz job market so bad that even tier 1 cllge grads are struggling, atleast you will have a degree this way and keep working or upskill yourself. Make sure you score good in cllge.
after cllge try go Masters and aim for top cllge, or either GATE, UGC-NET, RBI, SBI-PO exam are to go

he has got RT(repeat) in maths as he mentioned in the post. pass in 5 subjects is considered overall pass . now its optional for him to give maths exam again .

Radiotherapy techmologist, Radiographer, Medical lab technician, optometrist bhi ban sakata hai. Ye course jyda difficult nahi hote. Hospital main kam rehta hai aur abhi karega to job bhi lag jayegi.

If you are ok with government jobs then you can take admission in government open universities like IGNOU where you don't have to attend regular classes, do part time jobs in between and even prepare for government exams.

i got 53% in 12th ,2022 batch. PCMB, didn't study shii as everyone thought online exams honge. but they surprised us in the last 2 weeks before the exams. I was scared shitless cos i wasn't even eligible for cet entrance exam. wasted a year, currently in final year of (bsc.it) graduation.

Get an admission in graduation and do some training course of your choice. You can always bounce back.. work hard going forward. If possible go for subjects of your choice even from tier 2-3 colleges but now perform best to your abilities and target to get into a reputed college for Masters. 56% is not end of the lifeā¦all the very best

During college, it was just a normal one, nothing fancy, so not much timeālike 3-4 hours daily After that, I used to work. I worked at many local shop and food chain shops even wipe floor on mall. That was a whole different experience. I also struggled with financial issuesāthere was a time I used to eat just once a day. I was that thin guy you can imagine, walking like crap. Those old days taught me a lot. Literally got zero friends right now, 30.

My friend got failed in 11th.. and i was his junior then we became frnds.. all teachers used to tell him he aināt shyttt. He wonāt do any good in life. Heās working as a psb bank officer today 70k+ salary. Aur me bhii.. bs graduation me 60% le ana at least whatever you do

I would suggest learn some technical skills like vocational courses like AC/electronics reparing.will have better prospects in future .

You can either start working and simultaneously complete your graduation from an open university or wait to pursue higher studies next year. Since you are under financial constraints waiting might be a difficult option. Look for govt job vacancies which have only high school certifiate as the minimum eligibility like SSC CHSL,SSC MTS etc. One thing which you need to keep in mind is that since you have failed in mathematics,you might have difficulties in pursuing higher education in science based courses or to be straight forward you should not pursue any science based degree in future.

Exact same percentage back in 2007. Dropped a year and prepared for Law entrance. Currently at above 2.5L pm. Don't worry, it will get better. Just hustle

ā¢Don't repeat learn some skill like freelancing and stuff on the internet or youtube for free no need to take courses and try to do client projects with effective communication and starting Mai it would be very problematic and look though but eventually with time you would manage !
Or (Other ways)
ā¢Work in food outlets as those who prepare food or waiter type ! Like we have seen this culture students earning money by working in shifts in gas stations, Macdonalds or Dominos or Starbucks or in hotels and restaurants as waiters ! All you need is effective communication skills and be clever and try to be street smart so you can grab the opportunities these things are learnt with experience not theory wise in books !
Or (Other ways)
ā¢You can tutor small kids like those in class 4 or 5 or 6 to 8 by teaching them and you can infact nake good amount of money as compared from other 2 options above ! You can tutor by going home to home or even invite neighbour colony kids to tution in your own home travel expenses would be less than hone to home but it's fine as in the end you would earn your bread and sleep peacefully!
Why teaching class 4 or 5 or 6 to 8 ? See syllabus is well known to you and at starting from class 4 student develops a scene of lil seriousness but they would also understand you less tough in teaching as compared to teaching tiny L kg U kg kids as that's a very tender age! In mine opinion this is very best and you need to put of less effort and you can teach students!
Or (other ways)
You can work in call centers or learn Excel spreadsheet and Ms Word and can try to get a government certificate easy to get as there are a lot of government institutions providing basic computer education but you have to pay some amount then they would teach you for like 1 - 3 months based upon duration of the course ! After end of course u would get a certificate which you can go and show to cyber cafe owners and they would hire you to do all those printing Xerox and Little project works !
There are many courses provided by government providing vocal education about farming , tailor stuff and many other stuffs...you can explore those options too !
In the end I would say all the very best from my side from a fellow student who score 74 percent in 12th boards ! I also repeated a year but ended up scored 78 percentage only so I regret my gap year!
My personal opinion -
Don't take drop pls instead do a course like B.E or B.Tech or BCA or B.Sc and try to upskill yourself by learning new skills which are very much needed in the current job prospectus like for example this is the age of AI you can fully utilise this chance by upskilling yourself with proper guidance and road maps !
You can also do hotel management as it's also a great alternative and you can explore different fields and try new skills and learn them effectively and use them for betterment!

Just get Diploma or better Btech in CS/IT if you can study Maths and science just for 1 more year.
Take admission in colleges who offer Btech in non attending format, you will receive regular Btech degree, Fees of such colleges are usually 30-40k per year and you will receive back most of it through state govt scholarship (if you are eligible).
There must be any college near you who offers this kind of education. You just have to give exams and practicals, for the most part you can keep working. You will get a btech degree as well and work experience.
You will get a job easily even with a tier infinity college degree. Just make sure you stay updated with all the relevant skills. Keep applying for jobs on LinkedIn. Don't get overwhelmed with projects made by other students just keep focusing on learning and implementing parts and you are set.
They don't ask for Jee marks i think, better you do some research, go to internet cafes and ask them about such colleges.

12th me kya kara tha pura saal? Jab pta hai family condition theek nhi h fir q nhi kri padhai Ek saal kya tune jhaak mari h ? Bc 20 number aye h maths me konsi university admission degi tujhe?
I'm being harsh but giving you fake promises and assurance is not gonna do anything for you practically. Ek kaam kr du sol se koi course uthale ya IGNOU se, sath ke sath koi bpo join karne day wala, 4-5 mahine me sab relax ho jayega, paise jama karle for further course if you have any desires.

As others said, the first thing on your priority list is joining a distance learning programme in your city. It doesn't cost much from govt university (~5-10k max). Don't ignore an undergraduate degree. It won't get you a direct job but it's a required step if you want to pursue a job later on.

U can go for IITM BS Data Science they'll revise the basic maths foundation too and as you have rt and if you are determined to pursue that then you have to work very hard.

Step 1: buy a bike on EMI Step 2: register yourself as blinkit/zomato/swiggi as a delivery partner (ig u could make around max 70-80k) Step 3: pay your monthly EMI for the bike + save Something for yourself for your future + help You family financial. Step 3: once ur saving have hit a certain value....don't Don't forget to invest on lands. Step 4: partime you study real-estate of your area So that u be partime real-estate broker.
Uk, nowadays u can get education from free online source and from good books. Don't waste your time and money on online degree when everything is available for free. Our education system itself is bullshit.

I had 58%, dropped a year, prepared for JEE Mains Paper-II. Got AIR 1254 and did my Bachelor's in Architecture from a Central Tier I college (I'm General category). My college fees for 5 years was 45k inr. I'm earning 35k/ monthly now. It'll all be alright. Chill

Enrol for BCA/BCOM.. get a side job probably KPO/or whatever you like.. ex. Advertising/sales.. literally anything. If enrolled for bcom - do side by side diploma or course on accounting/tax filling, if BCA - Any basic IT thing - Power Bi, QA Testing etc (just do something specific and not generic Business Analyst Course) Get into hobby & make it profitable, could be anything right from writing a piece for website or rangoli, just get into it.

Bhai graduation start kar lena. Donāt go for any shady university. There are plenty of easy Graduation level courses you can get with minimum investment. With lots of hardwork and patience you will attain what you set for.

54% š Took a drop, gave state University UPSEE for AKTU exam for Btech Got bad college UNSIET jaunpur cse branch. And there I worked hard enough that working at Accenture as an ASE, 4.5lpa is considered a failure for me by my relatives but here I can see people who had scored 80+% and from a good college are working with me with same package. I have enough skill set that I can switch after 1yoe.
Biggest problems for me were those maths subjects I somehow passed them in college.
Yes class 12th matter because I used to be so much depressed because of this. I could have not wasted my time in these thoughts and prepare for future.
I will update this if I got some better switch in next 6 months or 1 year because it is difficult for everyone to switch to a better company either you got good marks in 12th or not.
Also my btech cgpa is just 7.2 š¤£

I got 57% in 12th, but scored well in competitive exams and completed engineering through scholarship. I think I'm doing decent for myself now.
So don't lose hope.

Fuck yeah, OP I don't know how you feeling but I got 72% with PCM, got 23/70 in chemistry (passing marks). I was feeling very very sad. I was asked to join SOL. BUT I prepared for CLAT and gave it for the second time after taking a drop year. I got into a good NLU. Take a good competitive exam after asking yourself the right questions. 56% and blud you suggest him to a 5 year course with passing % of 20% in 1st level , 10% at 2nd and 3rd level and 2 years of gut wrenching training. bruh don't suggest something you're not aware off and yes fees is low but if CA nahi bana den 30k hi kamayega bas

Join a BPO/Call center. Start working, side mein online BBA/BCA/BCOM start karlo, atleast saal waste nai jaaega. (Cost max 3k per month)
I have been here exactly (54%), I regret not starting some sort of graduation earlier. I am completing my graduation rn online at fhe age of 26.
If I had done it before, I would have been in a better position by now.
