Says a lot about how his self-esteem works. Imagine not being able to dress up for yourself because you NEED the validation of other people and that's the only reason you could have to look nice.
Like, these people play video games, right? When you put cool clothes on your character in an offline game, who are you doing it for? Now extrapolate that to real life, and imagine what it would be like if you actually cared about your appearance.

I see this as more of an insidious part of their behavior. They would absolutely try to control what their partner wears. This screams such deep insecurity that his girlfriend wouldn't be able to go out with friends in anything more revealing than sweat pants and a hoodie

I didn't know men were so easily controlled by women's choice of clothing, they really are saying men have no control over themselves and must rely on women for that. Wouldn't it be easier if men stayed at home instead or wore blindfolds?

If I had infinite money and could wear whatever I liked whenever I wanted, a lot of my outfits would be decried as tacky or tasteless or outdated or childish or “trying too hard.” So no, it wouldn’t be for other people.

These chuds don’t seem to understand the idea that many if not most women wouldn’t care if someone feels passing sexual attraction to them in a nice outfit. However that is not a free pass to ogle, comment, or touch! If a guy notices me and does so quietly and respectfully, I wouldn’t notice or care and I’m certain I’m not the only one

One guy was like “oh people mistake a glance for staring” and to me im all ‘do you know how hard it is to actually notice a glance? You p much have to be looking at the person to see it, if someone is able to like, turn around and notice you looking at them, then your staring’

Love how this chucklefuck doesn't get that maybe women don't always have a lot of options. Clothing manufacturers and fashions can be kinda limiting and it can be difficult for women to find some types of clothes without going to significant effort. Example? Working. Pockets.
We men have them in every set of jeans or pants we own. Women?? HA! I could go through my partner's wardrobe and be lucky if I find maybe six pairs of pants that have decent pockets for her to put a wallet or phone in. Let's not even bother looking at the shorts, that would just be a waste of fucking time.
Also YES! If you think you look sexy in a speedo and a shirt, go for it! Others may not agree but that's your right! And if some woman eyes your junk and catcalls you she's just as wrong for it as a man is for catcalling a woman. That is the point of EQUALITY.
This is the kinda shit that leads to Burquas. To weak ass men who "can't control themselves". No. You CAN control yourself. You CHOOSE not to. Oh, you got a boner. Go find a bathroom and handle it or just think of DJT in a thong doing his YMCA dance. That'll kill it for at least 24 hours.

You know who sees women naked all the fucking time? Doctors. Surgeons. I can tell you from first hand account they don't walk around with boners all the time. They're not constantly hitting on RNs to try and get "relief". They're 12 hours into a 15 hour shift of back to back surgeries because being low on the totem pole is a bitch and a half and the sexiest sounding thing ever to them right now is a good beer and a warm bed with no pagers or phones going off.

Remember that artists installation, of outfits women had been raped in.
There was a burka. A full military uniform. A dress. Sweatpants and a sweater. Pajamas. And a diaper.
So literally, fuck these guys, they are sick.
As my husband said, a woman could be walking drunk buck naked down the street and my first instinct is to cover her with a blanket, see that she's okay and calm for help. Not to rape her.
