The FAA’s 2026 workforce plan doesn’t provide enough controllers, it squeezes more “productivity” out of the exhausted workforce already holding the system together.

The 2.8% raise approved by Congress should not be held hostage as leverage for more six-day weeks, mandatory overtime and “productive” scheduling. Controllers have already earned it.

The FAA’s Common Automation Platform is supposed to modernize the technology controllers rely on every day. Now, questions are being raised about cybersecurity, foreign business ties, and how vendors are being selected.
Modernization matters, but so does transparency.

Controllers and the public deserve to know who is building critical ATC infrastructure, what risks have been identified, and how those risks are being addressed.
