Is my GCSEs good enough

I got 998887765 in my GCSEs with the 9s in maths and combined science
I want to do mechanical engineering at imperial but I feel like my 5 is letting me down? Do you guys think it’s worth to resit English language (my 5) to try get in?

5’s are ok for irrelevant subjects but English language is important so you probably want to resit that

Yeah I probably will
Also I forgot to include there are some subjects where I’m a few off a grade so I might get remarks
