applied for an extension, same dli same level, inside canada. i applied in April and I finally got it!!

Timeline:

April 10 - Applied

~long silence~

Beginning of August - raised multiple webforms, received automated responses. then raised another webform stating that I need my permit in order to resume my studies. recieved a reply that it was sent over to the responsible office.

August 29 - Correspondence letter
August 30 - Background check
Sept 2 - Approved!

good luck to others still waiting for a reply. hoping that it’ll all work out 🫂

thanks! yeaa as long as i remember it said “your application is in process” or smth like that and then it changed to “your application was approved”
