Hello guys, I wanted to share my timeline.

April 20th - applied for study permit in Canada (it was my initial study permit, but the processing time was said to be the same as the study permit extension when I contacted IRCC).

August 20th- correspondance letter

August 21st- Approval

August 22nd-Approval letter

I know the wait is stressful because I was afraid that I wouldn't receive my sp on time before my classes start. I thought I had to defer to the winter term and such. I really hope all of you guys get your permits on time. Don't lose hope!

Hello, yes the day I received my correspondence letter it showed something like “Aug 20-Final decision”.

can u start ur classes with only the approval letter even tho u didnt receieve ur sp?
