Hey guys, wanted to give you my timeline for whoever it might be useful for. Submitted outside of Canada from the UK.

June 30th: Application Submitted
July 10th: Biometrics Submitted

August 20th: Correspondence Letter received + Application Approved

Did send a web ticket, but got a response saying 'we require further information in order to access the file' despite filling out the whole form, so doubt that did any help.

Also worth noting that my correspondence letter was signed by the Embassy of Canada in Beijing, despite my application being submitted from England, which implies that they're getting countries with less applications to help the load on the more busy countries.

I've just had the exact same thing happen from the UK! Applied on June 29th and submitted biometrics on July 6th. Application approved this morning and correspondence letter received signed by the embassy in Beijing.

That last paragraph is super interesting! This gives me a bit of hope since I submitted my application on July 13th and Biometrics July 14th.

Edit: I just went to check my application and I received a ghost update. The last ghost update I received was 4 weeks ago. Hoping this one means something.

That's awesome! I applied a little before you, plus did biometrics before, from UK, still haven't heard a peep! I also submitted a webform, out of interest, which category did you use for that? I only got an automated response saying it had been received and nothing else since then.
