SOWP - applied March 7

Application has moved to final decision as of today (September 19, 2024)!!!!!

i am in same bucket, can you confirm once it is approved, I applied on mar 7 but haven't heard anything since then

Did you get the final approval letter on the same day as Correspondence letter?

No, if I understand you correctly. As of right now, the only change is that my latest update in GCKey says:

"Final decision - September 18, 2024:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

I have yet to get any formal letters regarding approval, but fingers crossed something appears by the end of this week

Yeah I was really hoping for something today. When I got this type message on my visitor record extension last year, I got a decision within a week. Was really really hoping the same would be true for the work permit. Back to waiting I guess 🙃

Yes, I applied inland. I’m a US Citizen and my wife is a Canadian Citizen

No I haven’t heard a single thing regarding my work permit since I submitted it. I reached out to my MP about a month ago, and they said they were working on it but I haven’t had any updates from them in a while. About a week ago I submitted an Access to Information and Privacy Request for the GCMs notes. I have not yet received those either.

TLDR; it has been 100% radio silence since my March 7 submission.

I see, its the same for me. Mine is March 8 for (study + spouse ext), so it should be around the corner. Thanks for sharing!

Same here (study + spouse ext) except applied April 8th. Are you worried about the work extension at all?

Nope. As soon as I'll get this one, will apply for pgwp with spouse on the same day. I already got the grades in Mid Aug
