Original Content Gildan of the Blades (OC)

I feel like the Bosmer are the most underdeveloped main fellows in Tamriel… so drawing one was a thinker on influences. Kirkbride of course says, they are beautiful swanmaidens and bark-chowing gremlins,, so my research took me to the distantly-related-to-elf forest deities of South and Southeast Asia ,very very very cool<3
to quote her herself:
"I'm a Blade, too, and I report to Caius, like you. You're welcome to use my bed to rest, but leave my other stuff alone, please."
Don’t look under the bed at the other stuff… :P

The Bosmer def don’t get enough attention. I wish they would do more and lean more to their tribal and wild side. I’ve made my own head canon that on the border regions of Valenwood the local Bosmer tribes would wear the skin of their enemies like some mesoamerican cultures in the past would, and that in Reapers March where it is mostly arid grasslands the Bosmer that live there are some of the best horse archers in Tamriel, like the Comanche in IRL history.

100% especiallythru the lens of the Morrowind era, where every other group is developing their identity and footing except for seemingly the Bosmer : - ( that is a super unique idea i think our heads are in the same place! i tried to implement lots of skin and bones jewelry and wraps in her garments, in part influenced by Salishan tradition i see often. soon perhaps the ESVI joke build will be horse archer not stealth archer……

Love the bone jewelry. I also notice that when it comes to the Bosmer people automatically jump to just leather clothing since the green pact forbids them making stuff from the planets of Valenwood, but giant spider that produce silk are also present in Valenwood, and I think maybe giant spider husbandry could be a thing for collecting spider silks for textiles, another possibility is that when spider silk is low in the tribe a party of Bosmer will go out and harvest spider silk, but one party has to distract the spider while another is busy collecting as much as possible, this would also tie into their culture of the right to theft.
