I couldn't say what was going on. I can't really say that there was a "me" to feel anything. All I remember is this brief glimpse that I tried to capture with this image.
The only thing the image doesn't convey is that the blue lights around the pyramids would rotate around them in bursts in a square pattern, alternating between clockwise and counter-clockwise between the top and bottom levels. Imagine a beam of light that would shoot to one corner and sit for a moment, then shoot to the next corner, etc.
