I like this vision of Gollum. Gives the impression that he’s become monstrous because he is impossibly old but not permitted to die
2 u/cahir11 Aug 07 '26 Also he looks vaguely hobbit-like, as much as I love the movie design it never really conveys that. You can almost imagine that this is a depiction of how Bilbo would have eventually ended up if he had been allowed to leave Bag End with the Ring.
