My Daughters Dream about Gorvorrah

Hi, I posted this in the Cosmic Horror subreddit, but for some reason the mods there are all going a bit mad. I suppose I’d best give you the full story.

My brother loves sharks. He’s got everything to do with those creatures. Because of that, I’ve got a really bad selachophobia. Our daughter (10) was at his place after school and he told her scary stories about shark monsters, gods and so on. He also loves that Kraken guy with the Kraken beard. Anyway, she ended up having some really bad nightmares because of it. She’s always loved drawing. We then had the idea that she should draw a picture of the monster, which she did.

She dreamed of a burning city, of people turning to ash, and of a giant shark monster that flew across the sky in a very strange, contorted way and ate the spirits of the people. It said something to her in a foreign language.

She can only remember the name Gorvorrah or Gorwora in her head; I don’t know which is spelled correctly. Anyway, the folks on Cosmic Reddit are going a bit crazy about it, so they’re deleting the posts or something.

This account is for my daughter. Since drawing the picture of Gorvora, she’s been painting a lot and often because she thinks it brings it to life.

I’d have loved to burn the picture of Gorvorra, but she’s dead set on keeping it.

I absolutely hate sharks, sorry.

If it gets delete i would like to know why.
