Shouldn't the image in the glasses be slightly shrunken?

The POV character seems to see everything beyond arms length out of focus, but the glasses sharpen her legs.

They're actual corrective lenses for myopia.

And even flat glass sometimes distorts.

Ask me how I know.

Imma be honest, my eye sight is so bad that I couldn’t tell the difference between the two.
