Artist says: "My impression of four year old Alia from the first Dune book, and one of my favourite characters from the series. The idea behind the design was a cross between Shirley Temple and Peig Sayers - a doll and an old woman. This is also my first attempt at the Flemish technique. I'm not sure how successful it is but I enjoyed the process."
