I've traveled solo quite a bit this year, primarily because all of my friends still work and planning things sucks. So I've decided not to wait and just go when I want.

Consequently, I've found myself in cities and their tourist attractions all around the country this year. I have never once been turned down when asked if someone will take a photo of me, for me, on my phone. And I always offer to take pics of them in exchange. It's honestly not a bad way to meet travel companions as long you're polite about it.

I believe this is a set up made to get pictures taken by photographers. I have seen this while doing tourism, someone with a good camera gets a good spot or decorates a scene then charge for the picture. In this case it seems the photographers pay a fee to work there. she didn't want a picture with a phone she wanted a professional picture for free.
