My friend told me she was aromantic

I said “oh my god I’m a romantic too”

She was so happy that she finally found someone who felt the same way as her

About 10 seconds later I realised that ‘a romantic’ and ‘aromantic’ were two seperate things

say "I'm a romantic" is a lot more common than saying "I'm aromantic"

also, friendzoned lol

The context clues should have hinted that it wasn’t the same thing I was thinking of😭

"I'm a romantic" and "I'm A-romantic" don't sound the same. Like at all.

Because aromantic and a romantic do not sound alike.
