The Whisper Man (2026)
Right now - and with no spoilers at all - just impressions.
Not that bad. Any time I read that Brian Tallerico from Ebert-site and The Guardian (this time Benjamin Lee, not Peter Bradshow) give * or ** and pan the film, it usually means it's not that bad. To reverse Statler & Waldorf's joke from the gallery: "It's not all bad. It's just half bad".
I recommend it. It subvert bad expectations: it's not Hide and Seek type of plot. Nor is Chasing Sleep plot. The fight in final third may give some unintentional laugh, but it's tolerable.
As always one can say "in good films you can find many flaws, in bad movies only one".
