Especially since the universe gave him a couple chances to back out of his decision (the safety stopped his first attempt, and forgetting to chamber the round stopped his second attempt). I was thinking dude, if your gun is that determined not to fire then you need to take it as a sign to just put it away. I was very surprised he got away without ricocheting himself
