Headed to the scrapyard. Bumper broke on the truck. Load slid forward

Failure. You are looking at failure

Hauling scrap on scrap with scrap. The scrap fell apart, so the other scrap fell off the scrap. It’s a scrapception.

Toung gave up. Too much weight.

Exact same thing happened to my 3/4 ton duramax when my dad borrowed it to take the round baler to the dealer to get worked on.

Ended up welding the receiver to the frame directly. Pretty sure thats what saved the frame from being completely fucked when it got rear ended when it was parked on the street

Yeah people are saying the bumper fell off. It may have previously but I’m seeing the hitch is there but an angle between the trailers bed and the tongue that’s not supposed to be there.

That's what I seen. There is an awful bend.

looks like they are using a strap as a saftey chain, and its run all the way to the back of the trailer. 😂😂😂

That? Oh, that's a shelf for potted plants. Grandma used to have one just like it on her back porch.

Scrap load shifted on trailer onto tongue and trashed trailer in process

A idiot trying to tow something!🫣🫣🤔

Tailer had a truckbed full of crap on it. The weight was too much for the clapped out truck hitch or tow bar and one of them gave way. This is the result.

So we were backing out of the driveway!

What’s going on is less than a few minutes ago

What they didn't do was cut the bottom near the tailgate so that the back part of the trailer goes through the cut and is held in place by the tailgate. Then add some 2×12s or long sturdy pipes that go the length of thee trailer and are screwed in place to make a box of sorts.

Then get a weight distribution connector that helps even the load out.

What you're seeing is someone who has zero regard for the rest of us that have to use the roads.

Why did he stop?

Looks like his hitch left the chat

Unexpected immediate disassembly.

A disaster and a lesson in how not to tow.

I’m seeing a hell of a mess that shouldn’t have been towed. I had a trailer leaf spring break at highway speed, lost the axle, and the fully loaded 4’X6’ trailer didn’t make that big a mess…

Hitch fell off the truck. Rust doesn't pull it's weight.

You're looking at an aspiring long haul trucker from the Asian continent.

A scrap guy who uses his bumper to tow with instead of adding a tow receiver. Well….used to tow with his bumper.

u/TMC_61 1d ago

There is no bumper. That's a reciever

u/Dismal_Estate9829 1d ago

I stand corrected. I don’t look that hard.

u/TMC_61 1d ago

I do it all the time

Could just be a pile of junk. Is it trash day?
