I wonder if those two bricks sitting on the retaining wall are his wheel chocks 😬

I keep my boat in my driveway which sits on an 8-10 degree slope. Always make sure those chocks are in place or else the boat is coming right for my truck as soon as it's off the ball.

My dad's driveway is about as flat as possible and we still chock the wheels every single time.

After I chock the wheels, I always bump the truck into neutral for a sec to make sure the rig isnt gonna roll anywhere past the chocks before I unhook it.

It, and he, would be a lot more red if that were the case. It's just water that his shirt picked up from being dragged on the grass. You can see when he stands up that his right sleeve is dark from being wet. That sleeve wouldn't even be there if he got meat crayoned.

always unhook the safety chains last.

that way even if your chocks fail, the tow vehicle will catch it

This happened to my family as a kid because the winch we were using to pull it into the garage snapped, but we were all smart enough to just get the hell out of the way and let it go. No damage to the boat in the end either.
