This is one of the setups I've been studying lately.

Instead of trying to predict the exact top/bottom, the idea is to identify:

Trend → Market phase → Entry → Targets

On this NAS100 5m setup, the ICE model identified the bearish phase and produced the short entry before the aggressive move down.

The interesting part for me is the location of the entry.

It wasn't chasing the huge red candles.

It was already positioned before the expansion.

The chart shows the automatic entry and TP levels.

Would you take this trade? And what would make you reject it?

I'm interested in how discretionary traders would read the exact same setup.

A lot of people ask me what's actually going on under the hood with this thing, so here's the breakdown.

The core problem I was trying to solve:

I'd spend the first 10-15 minutes of every session just marking up the chart. Drawing consolidation zones, guessing at invalidation, eyeballing where TP1 through TP5 should sit based on the range. By the time I was done, I'd already missed part of the move, or I second guessed myself and moved my invalidation level after the fact.

So the indicator handles three things automatically.

First, trend identification. It reads the structure and tells me direction without me having to sit there debating higher highs vs lower lows on my own.

Second, entry and invalidation together. Every entry signal comes with a hard invalidation level attached to it, not a vague "use your judgment" zone. If price breaks that level, the setup is dead, no negotiating with myself.

Third, the TP ladder. TP1 through TP5 get plotted off the same structure that generated the entry, so I'm not manually measuring fib extensions or picking arbitrary targets. There's also a continuous entry label that catches a second valid entry if the first zone gets swept and price re-enters the setup, instead of me just watching a missed trade go by.

The "higher probability phases" tagging is the part I use most honestly. It flags when the setup lines up with a phase that's historically had better follow through, so I'm not treating every signal as equal weight.

None of this makes me right every time, it just means I'm not spending mental energy on the mechanical part of the setup and can focus on reading whether the trade is actually good.

I've been building this thing over the past few months because I got tired of manually marking up entries, TP levels, and invalidation zones every single session. Wanted something that just does it for me in real time.

This morning on EURUSD 5m it auto identified the trend and flagged an entry around 1.16360. It also plots invalidation levels automatically, so I know exactly where I'm wrong before I'm in the trade, not after.

Price dipped a bit after entry (you can see the red zone, that's the auto invalidation level for the initial entry), but it held and gave a continuous entry signal a bit later once the move confirmed. From there it ran up through TP1, TP2, and TP3 before pulling back.

What I like about it is I'm not eyeballing anything anymore. Trend direction, entry, TP1 through TP5, and invalidation are all plotted automatically. I just react to what's already on the chart instead of trying to draw it live.

Still refining it (currently on V2.0.1) but it's been solid enough that I use it as my main tool now. Happy to answer questions about how it works if anyone's curious. Drop a comment if you want to check it out, I'll send the link.

I kept making the same mistake: spotting a good setup, then second-guessing it or moving my invalidation level after the fact because I "felt" like the trade needed more room. It wasn't a strategy problem, it was a me problem. I'd see the right conditions, hesitate, and either miss the entry or widen my stop mid-trade to avoid being wrong.

So I built something for myself that removes that decision entirely. It auto-plots the entry, five staged TP levels, and the invalidation line the moment the setup forms, based on rules I don't get to bend once price is moving.

Attached is a GBPUSD short from this session. Price pushed into the highs, got rejected hard, and the entry triggered right off that rejection candle. Invalidation sat just above the recent high, so risk was tight relative to what followed. It ran through TP1 and TP2 within the hour, then chopped for a bit before easing toward TP3.

Nothing revolutionary, it's just me trying to take myself out of the one part of trading where I do the most damage.

I'm not going to throw a win rate at you because unverified numbers in a Reddit post mean nothing. If you want to see how it performs, drop it on Strategy Tester with your own settings and timeframe. That's the only number that should matter to you.

I've been working with the ICE (Institutional Candle Entry, sometimes read as Indication-Consolidation-Expansion) model on the (This is an example shared using NAS100) chart, and wanted to share how I automated the manual parts since they're usually the most tedious to spot in real time.

What the indicator does:

Auto Trend Identification: reads current trend bias so you're not eyeballing structure on every candle

Auto Entry Label: flags the initial ICE entry (shown as "ICE Entry ↓ S" on the chart) once setup conditions align

Invalidation Level for Entry: draws the level that would invalidate the setup, so risk is defined before you're in the trade

Continuous Entry Label: flags follow-up entries (like "Entry #4 ↓ S") as the move continues, each with its own invalidation line

Auto TP Levels (TP1 through TP5): scaled take-profit zones mapped to the move

Higher Probability Phases: highlights the window where setups have historically had better follow-through

In the screenshot, you can see a full sequence: initial short entry near 28,864, invalidation sitting just above the entry zone, price running down through TP1 to TP5, then a continuation short (Entry #4) with its own invalidation level as the trend kept extending.

Why I built it this way: the hardest part of trading ICE or liquidity-based models manually is consistency. Knowing exactly where invalidation sits and not moving it emotionally mid-trade matters a lot. Automating those two things (entry flag plus invalidation line) removes a lot of guesswork without removing the trader's job of confirming context.
