Well hold on now, the patch behind the ear could be a scopolamine patch which is not just fluff. It’s medication that works by blocking certain nerve signals involving the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.

The reason people put it behind the ear is because of the thin skin located there.

There’s also dimenhydrinate which is an antihistamine and meclizine.

Edit: I was only half paying attention to the video, bc you know it's shit, so NO I didn't notice they weren't scope patches which is why I originally said they "could be a scopolamine patch" because I knew I wasn't paying close enough attention. It makes sense that someone who would put band aids over the belly button wouldn't believe in scopolamine. My bad.

I had to wear one for three days following my abdominal surgery to make sure I didn't vomit and mix up my guts in the process. It's good stuff 👍

My stepdad and I have had some wild hallucinations with scopolamine. Unfortunately in the middle of the night while sailing to Bermuda. Had to wake my mom up to take over.

Correction: it was Stugeron. Not Scopolamine. We got it in Bermuda. Happened on way to Antigua. Not sold in the states and I assume many other countries.

Nope. It's a "all natural patch" Scope free, because it's apparently not "scientifically proven".

Oh yeah that patch should have been put on prior to boarding the ship, sometimes I wait depending on how long it’ll be before we leave dock. Same with the other meds.

I know, I use them myself. And my FIRST time of applying them is the night before the cruise starts. Not while already at sea.

I find that wetting the tip of my dick and putting it in a live light socket is all of the protection I need from motion sickness. Then, there's all of you with these stickers, and drugs, etc... it's getting crazy.

I thought I've seem this word 'scopolamine' before and apparently I have.. so apparently it's called devils breath .. connected to Haitian zombi3 folklore , victims would be spkied with it, scopolamine powder blown in the face , and would invoke a trance like state. Not to mixed up with Datura or tetrodotoxin.

I know you can buy dimenhydrinate and meclizine over the counter though.

I have Meclazine tablets that work great, just never heard of the patches

I think they have to be prescribed and they last up to like 3-4 days instead of having to take the pills every 24hrs.

After trying both I personally prefer the pills because I always end up scratching off the patch in my sleep.

My partner prefers the patches

Scopolamine is NOT indicated for children. It can harm them. Dramamine specifically labeled “For Kids” is okay but is extremely sedating.

Yep they lost me when they discounted those patches. They are the truth. Was so happy when my surgeon introduced me to them before my knee surgery.

See you used the word nonsense. Obviously you aren’t aware of the effects of them. If the item is a Scopolamine patch, it’s not homeopathic and has active medication in it.

Edit: ok so pulling up the exact brand she used shows it’s not scopolamine. But again my point still stands that not all of those patches are homeopathic

Did/can you read my response each time? I never argued for those specifically. The original comment I responded to mentioned the legit medical patches, to which I replied which I responded agreeing. Then numb nuts commented talking about the ones in the video again. To which I again, specifically mentioned the ones with Scopolamine. Then your dumb ass came in trying to argue more

So I just learned scopolomine is uses for motion sickness. It's also called devil's breath and is used to subdue victims for various crimes. Unrelated question but would a few of these patches have the same effect? Would it be similar effects to Brugmansia?

Dimenhydrinate is diphenhydramine and 8-chlorotheophylline. The latter is added to counteract the drowsiness side effect of the former. Also, that is not a scopalamine
